Enjoyed the outdoor space - appreciated the labeled light switches- upstairs twin beds were quite firm - may not be for everyone- walkway to the entry was overgrown and hard to navigate
The house was clean and had adequate utensils, plenty of towels, a few spices, and a nice back yard seating area. We asked for an earlier check-in, but we we were denied because supposedly guests checked out that morning and the house needed sanitizing. However, when we arrived, the house was full of elm bugs... way too many for the house to have had inhabitants just hours before. After reporting the issue, they did send a housekeeer to vacuum them up, but they did persist during our 4 day stay We asked for tissues after 2 days there, since the box only had 3 tissues in it. We were denied and I told her we would resort to using toilet paper for tissues, but we would run out of TP. The following day we ran out of everything, so I asked for both. She responded and said that they only provide enough to get settled in and we could buy some TP and turn in the receipt for reimbursement. Never have we had this issue in vacation rental!
Met our needs.Suggest second window covering on lower level bathroom window. Also if neighbor has access to the garage then a lock to the inside door would be appreciated
Great place, spacious and quiet. Definitely advertised as is, no extras. If planning to cook meals, might want to bring your own spices and an extra pans. The kitchenware provided is ready for an update. Overall, a good place for a quick stay.
This lovely 3-bedroom, 2-story home in Glenwood Springs was the perfect getaway for me and my two friends from the East Coast. Each of us enjoyed a spacious bedroom with stunning mountain views. The house is well-equipped with everything we needed, including excellent Wi-Fi, a charming backyard, and a cozy living room with a great TV. There was plenty of room for privacy, and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Itâs a short 5-minute drive to downtown, making it convenient for exploring all that the area has to offer. I would stay here again without hesitation!
It was very clean. Bed's were comfortable. It reeked of cigarette smoke coming from the attached living space. I'm allergic to cig smoke, so I did not appreciate them listing this as a non-smoking property.
Was a lovely place and provided everything we needed. lovely location and easy drive to the hot spring and downtown. If you plan to cook, make sure you get everything you need including spices and food storage.
We enjoyed our stay. Everything was exactly as advertised, and we really appreciated there being a pack n play and high chair so that we didn't need to bring them with us. Very quiet area, beautiful outdoor eating area. Would definitely stay here again.
Our family really enjoyed our stay in Glenwood Springs. The house was suitable for our family. The kitchen was easy to cook in and we enjoyed the BBQ. Thank you.
We really enjoy the closeness to everything dowtown.. The first look at the permanent tenants house we about cried and thought we had to find something else to stay in!! The place attached we stayed in was in much better condition than the tenants house! Also we found ants and boxelder bugs inside! I would definitely have the front of the house CLEANED UP!!!
The place is clean and comfortable, and have plenty of room for my family. It also has all the essentials for light cooking at home. We had a good time staying and hanging out as a family.
However a few things that require some work;
- there are a lot of bugs including spiders and earwigs (which actually bit us). They were in the bathroom and anywhere that is moist
- the handle bar in the main floor bathroom was loose, and when I pulled the towel from it, it fell apart and the porcelain wall mount hit my toe really hard and it was bruised for a couple days. Then the lamp upstairs didnât work (but we fixed it). Overall it just seems the place needs some handyman touch up.
Good location, spotlessly clean, well-maintained, nice bathrooms, comfortable furniture and beds. Only negative was the neighbor on the other side of the duplex was doing some kind of car repairs, and there was a strong smell of gasoline outside for two of the days of our stay, which limited our use of the backyard patio. Despite this, I would recommend Hauptli house.
