I had an amazing stay at the Hotel colorado!!! It was near by everything and I even found free parking near by as well. If I ever return to Glenwood Springs I'll stay at Hotel colorado without doubt.

A stay at Hotel Colorado

The Hotel was clean and maintained. It is a mix of old and new. The rooms are a little noisy, but I think thats how it is in an old Hotel. The shuttle service was great and Thomas was a great and friendly driver. The food was good in the restaurant, the price seemed a little high. I would have been fine with a continental breakfast in the mornings. Staff was pleasent and efficient. I walked around the Hotel for hours looking at all the features. It was like going thru a museum. A fun stay all and all.

We rented the penthouse the view is amazing. The room is out of condition. There’s no reason they shouldn’t spend $50,000 more on the room make it a lot nicer and charge more.

This is an old hotel that has stood the test of time. In a way, it's like a history museum. As old as it is, things appeared requiring some updates/upgrades although if they do do renovations, then the history that has stood with the hotel will be gone? What was bummer was the fact that they don't have a fitness room. Well, I found some alternative ways to workout during the stay: walk around the city and hike up the Doc Holliday Grave trail. I put in 17,000 steps that day!! I enjoyed the bar and the restaurant.

I really loved staying there it was awesome to in a historic place. The rooms were amazing with the Fireplace still there. They do not have great parking especially if you have a trailer. There is no space around the property to park if you don't want to pay.
