Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort
Our stay was absolutely horrific! It was just me and my good friend traveling, so two women. When we tried to check in it took a hour because they couldn’t find ours and a few other peoples reservations. Once they put us in a room, the last room available, our room stunk so bad of mold we had to keep the window and sliding door open the whole night. As we were unloading our vehicle their maintenance man continued to hang around and bother us, so we waited until he left to unload. Later that night we went out to go walk around the hotel and go down by the water, when we heard someone beating on the big glass windows in the pool building. We had thought someone was injured or locked in so my friend was going to the office to get help and I ran to the building to see if I could help them. The Maintenance man opened the door in very tight swimming trunks and no top. I was shocked to see him. He continuously stated he was supposed to be working but he wanted us to come in there and party with him in the hot tub and was grabbing for my hand. This made me extremely uncomfortable. I told him no although he was very intimidating and I even told him we didn’t bring anything to go in there and that’s when he told us that was the fun of it, we didn’t need clothing. That when my friend said yeah, I don’t think so! He continued to harass us and numerous other guests until he was removed from the property that night. Very scary. Hotel will not call me back to even discuss this matter!
