Location, amenities, staff and cleanliness all great. The only small concern we had was the washing machine has sadly changed some clothing items to a grey colour rather than the vibrant colors they were. Which I haven’t been able to rectify at home. Other than that definitely will be rebooking when in the Gold Coast next.

The kitchen in the room was dirty, the stove top had bugs. The surfaces were sticky. The pans hadn’t been washed properly. The bathroom lacked towel hooks but the venue was very lacking in towels, when we asked they had run out. One of the bathrooms the plug didn’t work Our tvs weren’t working - maintenance didn’t take us seriously we had to force him to stay and observe the issue. Really hard with two kids to not have a tv. The hallways stank on the levels where there were pools and one of the elevators had clearly been vomited in. The cleanliness was nowhere near 4 stars The rubbish shoot always blocked - we had to report it multiple times. Overall pretty disappointing we won’t be back.

Ideal for kids. Fun and super close to everything you need. We are return customers and will keep using Mantra to stay when going to the GC. Some of the rooms (this one in particular) is very road noisy and only has blinds which does not help with noise at all. We ended up buying ear plugs. Otherwise this is a great place to stay.

95% of our stay was amazing. The location, pools, access to trams, shops and the beach. Everything was great. We had a two bedroom appartment on the 32nd floor, the views were stunning. The building (or perhaps just parts of rooms) can feel a bit dated, but we thought it was really good for what we paid. However, the day before we checked out our key-fob access stopped working. The Reception was no help, they sent us to a Security window. Security had a random story about an email from an agent who told them to block our key fob and access, something to do with the basement (???). We'd never been anywhere near the basement and were on holiday, we didn't even have a car! The Hotels.com online agent was no good at all at helping us, they just got stuck on hold on the phone to the hotel reception. It took 20+ minutes for my wife to convince Security to reactivate our key fob and let us back into the building. It really was UNACCEPTABLE. No real reason. We'd paid our money and expected access to the building and room 100% of our stay. I'm glad it was at 5.30pm after a day of shopping and not at 2am after dinner and drinks. Will we come back? Probably, but here's hoping that the access issues don't happen again.

Our stay was very pleasant, we were local and walking distance to surfers paradise beach and cavill avenue. We had a supermarket downstairs which was very convenient. Our hotel was spacious and clean although a bit out dated it had all the facilities needed in it. Overall it was a wonderful stay would highly recommend
