We had a fantastic stay at this lodge! The room was clean, spacious, quiet atmosphere and convenient location. Great value for the price, and definitely recommend.

Road side hotel/motel. Older property being worked on. No breakfast buffet, but Golden town is nice, many choices for causal dining and the river walk is well done, on the Kicking Horse River. Average at best, not much parking. Some highway noise.

Price was cheap compared to other places, and front desk was cordial and polite. However: Wooden floor was dusty, caused dusty/wet foot prints in the washroom every time. Sink was too high, towel hanging hooks too close to toilet seat. Too many mosquitoes but i wouldn't count that against the establishment but they should provide some solution. No drinking water faucet even in front desk area, we were told to use bathroom sink. Room okay in a pinch but needs some improvements

Friendly, professional staff. Nice, large room with comfortable beds. Easy to order food from the nearby Italian restaurant and have it delivered to the room. Easy to find from the highway.

Nice Place!!! - Nice Price!!!

Nice place to stay to hit several of the National Parks. It is very easy to get on and off the main highway and the lodge is very close to restaurants and the downtown portion of Golden. The price also was excellent. They serve no breakfast but my room had a microwave and a big refrig in it so I bought some food from the grocery store and had my breakfast in my room. You do hear some highway noise from the rooms but I had a white noise creator on my computer and that worked well in shutting down outside noise.

The hotel is right by the hoghway, its very easy to get to downtown, the attractions and to the hotel itself. If I had 1 thing to critique, its that there isnt quite enough parking out front for the rooms. We got back from a late night dinner, and couldnt park in front of our room door, but we did manage to find the last spot avaiable a ways away.
