At check-in, Staff support was great, very professional in checking me in and assigning a hotel room.
I then headed to my hotel room, luggage in hand. I went in and checked out the sleeping area, then headed to the bathroom. In the bathtub was a very large 2” cockroach. I immediately turned around, grabbed my luggage and headed back down to the front desk to report the cockroach. Expedia.com already had my money so I know given the late hour, that had I called Expedia.com, it would take a lot of time explaining my situation. As well, the refund would take 2-3 weeks, I’d end up paying again for a different hotel. I decided the better option was to ask the Hotel attendant to move me to a different hotel room, preferably on the top floor.
The hotel desk assistant apologized for the cockroach iand said she would call someone immediately to handle the problem. Had I not already paid Expedia.com for the hotel room, I would have immediately left and changed hotels.
I did not sleep very well, kept looking for cockroachs ever where I stepped. Not a good stay. Thanks.
