The stay here was excellent. I have been renting with VRBO for 16 years now, and they all have some of the details... this one has them all. They have done it so nicely - they had plenty of dishes, kitchen and bathroom towels, dish washer detergent, paper towels, TP, tissue paper, laundry detergent and dryer sheets, coffee and filters. We had 6 people staying and the beds were nice, plenty of bathrooms. They have games and puzzles, TV, beach towels, a nice back yard. We did not need the pack n play and the small child things. They have a nice backyard. We liked the location... not far from Santa Barbara, has a local golf course and beach nearby, we shopped at Albertson's. We would recommend to a friend.

Very well stocked kitchen, responsive when there was an issue with the keypad. House sleeps a family of 5 easily with room to spare. There is a secure fenced backyard safe for young kids and a very nearby park.

We loved our stay! The house was clean, very quaint and comfortable super accommodating, never ran out of towels and very clean. Beautiful backyard. Great location if you have a student at UCSB close to golf course close to shopping close to everything will definitely be back again.

House looked clean but the bedsheets and pillows had an awful sweaty, musty odor. That made sleeping at night difficult. On top of that, one of the shower pan had stains that felt not very clean so we didn't use it at all. In one of the bathrooms, the floor had a slight dip indicating some water damage below. The Avant Stay team did mend it a little bit for us but not enough and there was nothing we could do about any of the items. For top dollars they charged us, this wouldn't be a place we would recommend.

Beautiful home, close to UCSB, well stocked kitchen, with clean and comfortable beds. The home does not have air conditioning so it got quite warm during our stay. The host has plenty of fans. We kept the windows open at night to cool the home.

Weekend in Santa Barbara

The home is fine. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean. It's more outdated than the photos show. The master bathroom was the most up to date, but the others we're pretty run down. The kitchen had an electric stove that was old and challenging to cook on. If you're just looking for a place to crash overnight it's great, but I would have been disappointed if I were staying for a vacation or weekend getaway.

Family graduation trip

This property was perfectly located near my sisters house in Goleta. While the property had some wear and tear (stains and tear on kitchen floor and bathroom flooring) it was clean, beds were comfortable, backyard was private and nice, plenty of space for eating and hanging out! I do think the extra fees on this property are quite misleading. Both VRBO and Vacasa charge over $300 each in booking fees, plus cleaning, a parking fee (?) even though the house has a driveway to park in, as well as other unexplained fees aside from taxes. Overall, I would stay in this property again due to the convenient location near family. However, I will be more attentive in comparing the extra fees associated with renting this property versus others.

Goleta Getaway

Overall, the house was clean and met our needs for a family weekend. We rented this house because it had 4 bathrooms. It should be more clearly stated that two of those bathrooms are in the master. It was an interesting layout. But, it worked for us. Also, the kitchen could be a little better stocked with spices, oils, etc. Otherwise, it was a nice house that suited our needs.

Very comfortable and welcoming.

-Lighting poor over dining room table - replace 2700K (yellow) bulbs with 5000K (bright white) led 100W eq. -Master Suite suggestions: 1) Move the TV to wall over fireplace. 2) Move desk from closet to present TV location. This would be handy for working on a laptop. Provide another chair for the desk. 3) Move present TV stand into closet for suitcases. The desk in there was too wide. 4) Did not understand the locked closet in the Master. The hallway closet should be enough for the cleaners. 5) Needed more hangers in the closet. -Loved the dining room table with six chairs. Most VRBO's have a small table with four chairs. Major influence in picking this property. -Loved the patio table with the bench and four chairs. We were able to use these chairs at the dining room table when we had more people for dinner. -Very good kitchen. Comfortable with multiple people cooking. -Great TV in Living Room but should provide at least one subscription service. Maybe there is, but it seemed that it needed an Amazon Prime code to do anything.

Mini-reunion

We were able to get together as a family, since our kids are spread out across the country. The house made it very easy to hang out at will instead of trying to meet in a hotel room or a restaurant. More than enough space in a quiet neighborhood convenient to getting around.

Spacious, uncluttered rental property

The house was spacious and uncluttered and generally clean. the yard was lovely. We checked in Tuesday and I called Wednesday to report problems with the thermostat. Although I reached an agent and received a call from another agent, the problem was not resolved during the stay. There was a complaint by a previous renter about the moldy washer gasket; that was unresolved for our visit. Moreover, the washtub clean had not been run. We resolved both issues ourselves--an unpleasant nuisance. The open shower had a broken shower head holder. In addition, it was impossible to keep the shower from sending water under the washer and as far away as the toilet, even when directing the shower to the back wall and standing as close as possible to the wall. The microwave didn't have sufficient power, the front left range burner did not fully heat, the oven did not fully heat, and the coffeemaker was filthy with built-up coffee residue.

Clean, Cozy, and Comfortable

This very nice and clean property with close proximity to Santa Barbara allows us to enjoy a long weekend with friends after being away from each other for 2 years through the pandemic. Quiet neighborhood. The check in/out process as communicated via email and text was efficient and convenience. Overall, a great stay. Only quirky thing is 2 bathrooms that can only be accessed via Master Bedroom.
