The included breakfast was perfect as a quick way to start our day and avoid costs. The hotel staff was very friendly and it was the perfect location from the train. The room was overall pretty clean and a good size for two travelers. Would definitely stay here again!

A charming place , very clean and the staff are extremely friendly. The breakfast is wonderful, you should try the waffles, so delicious. The room is so cosy and the bed is very comfortable. The hotel is right in the centre of Gothenburg, 400 m from the central station. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Royal is gem. The staff are caring and friendly, the breakfast is to die for, and the afternoon snacks are delicious. It’s in an easily walkable area, just a couple blocks from central station. We were returning guests, and hope to go back!

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, lovely staff, really good breakfast, large room, and fresh cake and tea in the afternoons. The only drawback for us was the noise- we were in Room 356, above the front entrance near the apex of 4 streets, and there was a lot of extraneous noise till 2am, and then early morning from the building works opposite. Ask for a room further away from the lift and stairs

Hotel with tons of charm very centrally located in Gothenburg. About 20 min walk from Haga, 5 minutes from the Central Train Station, near the shopping centre Nordstan. The hotel is Gothenburg's oldest, the staff is fantastic and the breakfast is wonderful. I don't see any point in staying anywhere else during my future Gothenburg trips. The decoration for Christmas is very beautiful.

Nu har jag bott på Royal vid flera tillfällen. Det är som att komma hem! Perfekt läge, rent och fräscht, lugnt och tyst, fantastisk frukost och mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående personal som alltid finns tillgänglig. Denna gång satt jag och mina universitetskompisar i foajén och studerade. Vi fick till och med låna konferensrummet vid ett tillfälle och ta kaffe allihop. Snacka om service! Den där omtanken från personalens sida gör att jag känner mig sååå välkommen och väl omhändertagen. Att hotellet i sig är fantastiskt vackert har jag redan skrivit i flera recensioner ... Längtar redan tillbaka!
