Paid extra for a pillow mattress upgrade but my bed had a old mattress with Brocken springs, sags in the middle
Pillows were cheap and nasty as well
Had 1 to 2 hours sleep maximum
Bathroom was dirty
Remote control for tv was Brocken ; cover missing so batteries would fall out
Poor condition with a terrible nights sleep
We can't complain about our stay. Our room was fabulous and staff at front desk very polite with a natural smile. We had dinner in the restaurant. The menu was great. Meals were beautiful and the staff were very helpful helping us to decide what meal to choose from. We give the restaurant A.
This property is knowingly misrepresenting themselves. All listings for this property show Wi-Fi included. Upon arrival you get a letter explaining that itâs under new management and theyâre sorry Wi-Fi isnât actually available. That on top of a very disappointing room, a lacklustre pre-packaged âbreakfastâ and average at best service â I wouldnât stay here again.
The room was clean and a nice size- the bed was ok-
plenty of blankets.
downside - the breakfasts were of due to supposed alterations , Also there was no internet as promised when booking.( again supposed alterations)
Booked our room through Hotels.com and almost immediately received an email from the motel advising that the restaurant was closed until further notice. OK, no problems thereâs a nice pub down the street.
Arrived at the motel at 1705 on Sunday only to find that reception was closed. Tracked down the phone number and rang 4 times only to get music. Contacted Hotels.com who were able to raise the owners who then rang us.
Their excuse was they didnât have our phone number and as such couldnât advise the after hours arrangement to access the room.
Interesting excuse given that the motel had already contacted us to advise that the restaurant was closed. One might be excused for thinking that if reception had limited hours then a note in the email would have been helpful along with a code for the security box.
Anyway we now had to find our room.
The map provided was not clear and indicated a room towards the back of the property. Sure, there was a house there but it was dark and all the lights were off so we didnât think there were rooms there.
Tried to ring the motel again to get instructions but all we got was music.
Then lo and behold, someone turned the lights on at the house.
Saw a young lass who was about to open a staff door in the main building and she indicated where our room was. Yes it was in the house at the rear of the property that had been dark.
Accommodation was OK and we read the instructions in the envelope and to our dismay, the Wifi was out. Under repair!
At last, an Australian motel that provides biscuits post COVID. It is proof for me that this establishment respects the comfort of guests over petty cost cutting measures. Great work Quality.
