They didn’t have small towels and we have to ask for tissues. And for internet we have to ask front desk for the password usually it will be with room key cards. Room was clean and beds were ok.

Room had mould in shower and some rooms have a mould smell. Also bad signing posting to room 233 where I stayed - tried two others and Andy bad. I’m asthmatic so not great. Only one sheet on bed (not enoughh and no bathroom door. Great location as opposite El Cortes department store and lots of eateries etc.

We loved the room accommodations, the friendly staff the breakfast buffet and various options plus the beautiful rooftop lounge with an amazing view of the city. All and all I will stay again in a future visit.

A little worn down and very average service

The rooms are a bit worn down and the products in the shower were very basic. Also, upon arrival and departure, we couldn’t get help with the luggages. Finally, you have to go down to the lobby to get pool towel for the rooftop … not very logical and nobody told us… very expensive for the quality… we had better hotels for same or lower price elsewhere in Spain during our trip…

Good location but a little impersonal

Good location but the room was a bit small. Not unusual for Europe. The hotel itself is sleek but lacking in little personal details like a bathrobe. Internet is AWFUL here. However, the staff was excellent and the hotel is within walking distance of lots of cafes and shops. No parking! You have to let the staff park the car and they charge for it.

Staff were curt, not friendly but got the job done. Hotel and room were gorgeous. Design flaw: there is no door to the bathroom. I hate this European design, it's so flawed. So we had to take turns to leave the room just to shower... not everyone travels as couples. Had we known, we probably would've booked a different hotel. The toilet has a sliding door... but very little privacy in this room. Rooftop view is *STUNNING* but the food was really bad and so overpriced. Go for drinks but not for dinner. Wi-fi was strong. I'd stay again if I was alone in the room.

We enjoyed our stay at the Barcelo. The staff were pleasant and friendly. There was a good choice of food for breakfast and wifi worked well. If you are allocated room 109 be aware ithere is only a small window overlooking an enclosed area. Conveniently located - we walked to the Alhambra in 30 minutes and the cathedral in 10. Taxis and buses just outside.

Tout était impeccable! Nous avions une chambre supérieure avec un très grand lit. C’était vraiment extra! Le petit déjeuner du matin était aussi complet et très bon. Si nous demandons, ils peuvent nous faire des œufs comme nous le désirons sinon, au buffet, il y a tout ce qu’il faut. De plus, tout est à la distance de marche pour les restos et plus!
