The TV in my friend’s connecting room did not work. Linens on bed were clean but bathroom towels smelled. Rooms were a bit dingy, need paint and deep cleaning. The heater worked but it was very dirty. Breakfast was just ok, the on site pizza restaurant had great tasting pizza, service staff were polite and professional, overall the restaurant had a relaxed and cozy feel to it. Front desk staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Overall the property inside and out needs updating.

The staff was the best, very helpful and friendly. After it snowed, I was trying to get the snow off my rental car's windows with a towel, and a staff member saw my attempt, pulled up, and scraped my windows clean. The room was clean, quiet, and within easy walking distance from the rim. The blue shuttle bus stopped in front of the lodge. Having a small refrigerator and coffee maker in the room was very useful. Overall, a great lodge.
