Grand Canyon Primer

Greeted with friendly staff upon arrival. Got to my room and had a noticeable crack in the doorway jamb when door was closed and could feel cold air coming through at night. Only real complaint. Bed was huge! Pool was completely enclosed for all year swimming. Grass area next to it for pets to do business in and equipped with bags to clean it up. Breakfast in lobby was OK. Would consider staying again.

Once again… I find myself staying at this property, and enjoying it! My wife and I decided to stay one more night in flagstaff before our long trek to Albuquerque and chose this motel again. We love it. Can’t get enough of it honestly. My toddler loves the pancake machine… and my inner toddler does too… our only complaint, the bed side tables are a little high for our comfort. But that’s us. Otherwise, we’ll be back, and can’t wait! Thank you super 8!

This hotel has slowly morphed into our go to when passing through flagstaff. The rates a great and the room is clean. Beds are okay. As expected when staying at motels, the streets tend to be loud.

Stayed here it was okay but very outdated. Made me feel like I was walking back into a motel in the 70’s. No issues our room was clean & comfy. However the room smelled& was stuffy. Also outside smelled of marijuana & from inside you could hear everything happening outside. Very thin walls. Definitely needs updating.

The pictures online are deceiving... First, it is a motel not a hotel. I chose this location based on the pictures of the pool area... it was less than satisfactory. The first of two nights the pool was luke warm and the hot tub was cold. I am glad to share that the second night the hot tub was indeed hot. Thank you for that. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was alright. As for the room, I guess you get what you pay for... we were not impressed.
