The place is absolutely terrible, they say they have quiet hours but everyone is up, the rooms look nothing like the pictures, the bathroom was dirty. Terrible experience, I slept on top of my dirty clothes on the bed when I should have slept in my car

Hotel experience was really good (had noisy neighbors but to no fault of the staff)- clean & remodeling so took that into consideration. Decently close to downtown Grand Rapids with lots of food in decent radius

Our bedding and bathroom was clean enough, and the hostess was kind. Other than that i cannot recommend this property. The carpet was gross, our room smelled like wet dog (it is a pet friendly hotel but this was beyond what i would expect), and housekeeping came over an hour before checkout asking us if we were leaving soon so they could come in and clean.

Truck noise starting at 4am. Across the street from some sort of distribution center so constantly starting at 4am EVERY DAY beep beep beep beep beep beep of trucks backing up. Locals living there. So, there are domestic disputes consistently. Older lady at front desk lacks customer service skills..... That is when she's actually at the front desk and not outside smoking, which is most of the time.

Love a hotel that don’t say on their website they are under construction so you get to hear noise all afternoon and early evening. The girl at the desk will not let you check in 20 minutes early even with a half empty hotel. Hallways smell like paint so bad your eyes will water. But the night desk manager was nice and helpful and the bed was comfortable.

Got in late for a funeral and had to book 2 nights so that I can still work around the service for my uncle. Receptionist acted bothered when I got in. And to my suprise, the hotel was filthy. Nothing like the pictures. Carpets in hallways haven't been vacuumed in years it looked like. The whole hotel and stairways smelled like cleaning chemicals to pretend it's cleaned but it was overwhelming. The only thing decent in my room was the bed and again, overwhelming cleaning supplies smell to cover up that it probably wasn't washed. Had a guy bang on my door multiple times something about his tv and was being told he was switching rooms with me? I was in the middle of working and talking on the phone and had to scream at him through the door to go away. I left shortly after this instead of staying the full night because it was so miserable in a already hard time. I will never stay here again!

This hotel is in serious need of an OVERALL upgrade in every area. The room appeared to be clean. The cleanest part of the room was the bathroom and shower. However, the toilet was so low to the floor it looked like it belonged in a Pre-K classroom. Shower and enclosure was clean, water was hot. Main area: furniture desk, night stand old and scuffed. I read others reviews before booking and said hey everyone is entitled to their own opinion the price is awesome. Welp I travel with my 13year old son all the time and we've came across hell of hotels but nothing like this one. Every single time we stepped in the lobby there was some type of commotion going on. Arguing, fighting, or simply just hanging out, and it's never the same people it's always different people. I stayed over 5 days and police were called 2-3x's during my stay for fighting. It's a huge hang out in and out of the hotel. Although all that was going on and I gave one star the employees are GREAT, VERY POLITE.
