3 star rated hotel and was what you'd expect.It was clean, and comfortable and would stay again! Breakfast was included in the price and there was a good selection, continental and warm breakfast!

Good value hotel accomodation. Free parking. Helpful staff. Yes the hotel is dated definitely not contemporary..look out for the bird pictures. the gold bobble wall decorations, the few steps up to first floor ( not sure how that worked!), the fish tank and the school hall looking breakfast room...but....the rooms are very clean, towels clean, great simple breakfast (lovely waffles) and all at a very reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again

Rooms are very dated, the bed was broken we asked if we could change rooms so we could actually get a good nights sleep and was told we had to pay an additional £20 food is very over priced

The floors needed a good old clean & carpets smelled like old pub carpets along the corridor. Feels like it needs a good old spring clean to freshen things up! The bar area is too dark to see the menu, had to get a torch light from my phone. The staff were helpful & helped us with any problems although breakfast waiter had forgotten to take our order & then arrived with fried instead of poached egg (which was unfortunately overcooked!) On a good note, the view of the lake was absolutely amazing & plenty of parking onsite.

This hotel is a good place to stay if you have a pet and the pet will be staying in the room by itself. The carpets in the hallway were 10 years overdue for a change. As a couple, we were provided with only one bath towel and 2 other hand towels. When I called reception to ask for an extra bath towel, the Indian gentleman rudely asked men to come downstairs and get it myself. If I was asking for an unusual item or something that was a favour, I would understand. A towel is a basic necessity. The decor in the rooms were Elizabethan and the hotel had the stench of marshland. The hotel is worth £40 per night at best. The plus side is ample parking.

We will never be staying again Terrible experience Four different people asked us to leave When I had explained that I was caring for 2 disabled adults and it would take longer in the morning to leave I had emailed the hotel prior to arrival about leaving at 12 Breakfast 7-9 on Saturday Wow I will writing reviews regarding this hotel on the booking sites We will never be booking this hotel again

the property ads in their website are far glorified as a real experience not proper bathroom toiletries very good size room but micro TV with broken remotes roadside of the hotel is very noisy due to highway just meters away but lake side is fabulous no air-conditions and ceiling fans are decorative rather than operational
