Fantastic Home and Dock
This was, by far, one of the best homes weâve rented over the years with VRBO! The owners were prompt and effective communicators! The check- in process was seamless! The home was clean, well decorated, organized and logically laid out! They have a binder and electronic instructions for everything in the house. The dock was extraordinary! We spent most of our time on the dock. There is a large TV, a bar area and plenty of seating. There are paddle boards, kayaks, life jackets, a lily pad and noodles. There is space for your boat. We rented a boat from Mermaid Cove marina, located at the end of the cove (10 minutes) by boat or 20 minutes driving. We rented jet skis from Scooters- they dropped them off and picked them up at the dock for us. We fished from the dock. The local Town and Country grocery store in Laurie has worms. The kitchen is well stocked with every appliance, spices, etc. The owners are so thoughtful and have shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. There are games and TVs in every room. The game room downstairs was a hit! The beds and pillows are comfortable. The bathrooms are fantastic and roomy. There is a laundry room in the upstairs queen bedroom. The driveway, as mentioned in the home description, is steep. We parked two suburbans at tie bottom of the driveway and four smaller SUVs at the top. The house is on a gravel road, but it is easy to find and the road is not bothersome. We will stay here again! This is an extraordinary property!
