The room was very clean, they required a $60 cash deposit which was odd. They had not received payment from Hotels.com even though I had paid on the web site so I had to pay again. The room was very spartan but the price was very affordable. So if money is a concern it was a good deal, if comfort a concern then not so good. But the room was very clean.
It was okay for the price. We left our room for a couple of hours and came back to our room smelling like weed. The people above us kept us up all night because it sounded like they were rearranging the room. Then the next night we kept having people knock on our door all night.. each time we opened the door they had the wrong room.
It was just a quick trip and a cheap place to stay. It was average. We didnât have any issues except when it came time to check out. We had to leave a $60 deposit and it had to be in cash. We informed the girl that checked us in that we had a flight to catch so we would be leaving early and she assured us someone would be in the office. That was not true. We were unable to get our deposit back because we had to leave for the airport. I called all morning and afternoon and finally talked to someone who told me I had to come back and pick up the deposit. I live in Michigan! They said they would return the money on the card that I used to pay for the room, but I havenât gotten it yet so I guess weâll see how that goes. Other than that everything was fine.
Itâs always a bad sign when at check in the clerk is completely behind plexiglass. They require a $60 cash deposit at check in and they have to inspect the room for damages at checkout before you get your cash back. That gives you an idea of their normal clientele. Itâs better than sleeping in your car, I guess.
While aloud to checkin in early, there was no heat in room during cold weather for two days even after telling front desk. Do not disturb tag doesnât mean a thing because they still enter the room. Breakfast is a joke because itâs from 7am until it runs out and it runs out on the first pot because of the shady/ghetto people renting and the food substance is a dry out old discounted wrapped pastry like if it was bought from the discount outlet expired! The advertised security deposit $50.00 to hold in credit card is a lie itâs $60.00 they say cash deposit because of the type of people they rent too! If you donât have cash they say the deposit is increased to cover their fee of having an atm for convinience. I requested to check out after seeing a rat running in the hallway and seeing roaches and not be charged for the remaining night after no heat no breakfast rodents insects etc and they said there are no refunds they charge up from in full. All they say including owner is âIâm sorryâ.
I woke up covered in spider bites, the room didn't have the remote for the tv, somewhat inconvenient that their office and breakfast don't open until 7am because we were awake earlier and wanted to leave (and wanted to get our surprise cash deposit back), we ended up not eating their breakfast because of how late it started and we already managed to find breakfast elsewhere. The only nice experience was the number of places to eat around.
From the outside looks kind of questionable but the room was very clean well kept. Very pleased the manager said they're currently renovating all the rooms. Price was decent also. Would definitely stay there again. Only thing have to have cash for deposit and when checking out have to wait for them to check the room before they return your deposit other than that was very pleased
