We were in town to run the Mississippi River Marathon. The hotel's location was perfect, allowing us to walk to the buses and from the finish line. While this is an older hotel, it is clean and roomy - perfect for our one night stay. Checkout time was extended for the runners, so we had plenty of time to clean up after the race. They also opened breakfast 30 minutes early for anyone who wanted to grab something before leaving for the race. The TV needs an upgrade, but the free wi fi more than made up for it. I will stay at the Rodeway Inn again for the 2017 race.
Dirty bath tub, shakey sink faucet, filthy air conditioning...the matress has dead bed bugs under it, wonder if their babies are hiding somewhere and will come out to suck your blood at night, luckily I was not bitten that night. The only reason I chose it was because it is right next to the marathon race start line. Frankly speaking, living in this type of motel room is just a bit better than sleeping on the street.
