This is a nice hotel with it's own private blue lagoon pool that stays open until 10pm in April. Perfect for one night before you go explore Iceland. This hotel is a short drive from the big blue lagoon pools and retreat spa. No regrets, but for the ultimate soft landing and luxury, stay at the retreat hotel. I would pick one of these two hotels (and a full day retreat spa pass) to start or end your Iceland trip with!

Our stay at Silica Hotel was the perfect way to start our vacation and truly a 10/10 experience. From the moment we arrived, the amazing staff made us feel welcome, and the beautiful rooms exceeded our expectations. The entire atmosphere was absolutely mind-blowing, creating the perfect setting to relax and unwind. One of the highlights was the outstanding breakfast each morning, followed by the incredible lagoon experience. Relaxing in the silica waters was unforgettable and unlike anything we’ve experienced before. Thank you for such an amazing stay — we can’t recommend this place enough!
