What a bummer this trip was. We stayed in this unit last year and loved it so much we decided to book it again this year. When we arrived, we noticed the steps up to the house had very slick moss growing on them and my friend tripped bringing her stuff up the stairs to the house. Once we opened the house we were hit immediately with a musty, moldy smell. It seemed the house hadn’t been aired out or cleaned in months. So we opened some screened windows to get some air moving, and sat down to start catching up. Before we knew it we were swatting at gnats. They were everywhere. We had to keep covers on our wine glasses to keep them out and we spent an evening swatting at them and trying to keep them out of our food. When we went to bed, the beds smelled of musty mold. Dust on everything. The toilet doesn’t function properly. There was little to no soap in the body soap container in the shower. When we woke up in the morning and went into the kitchen, there were gnats all over our food, they were everywhere. I reached out to VRBO and the messaging function connects you to a BOT. The bot suggested spraying chemicals to get rid of them
we were not going to go to the store and spend our vacation time doing pest control at a rental. We put all of our food into the fridge and left for the day. Came back to gnats everywhere. Someone from the “local team” at VRBO had called me and left a message saying he couldn’t get out until today-our check out day. Very dissatisfied with this place

The hot tub was not heated to 104, otherwise it seemed to be in good shape/clean. Everything in the home was very clean. The setup of the house is odd, with the bedrooms and bath in a separate space from the living room and kitchen, all connected by the hot tub courtyard. Just quirky. Adequate overall.

The cottage was cute. Bathroom could have been a bit cleaned although not dirty. The kitchen was lacking amenities such as tea, creamer for coffee, sugar . There was a welcome gift box by Vacasa that contained dish soap and other cleaning products. Not very welcoming when you’re on vacation and have to think about cleaning first thing. We thought it could have been coffee or tea or chocolates but cleaning supplies? Not sexy. There was only a partially used roll of toilet paper and there were no fresh filters for the Britta pitcher. The guest book said the tap water wasn’t very tasty but we were not forewarned and didn’t make it to the store until the next day for drinking water and tp!The hot tub was so heavily chlorinated we didn’t use. My eyes burned just lifting the lid. It was an ok stay but for the Vacasa fees that were as much as the two nights we stayed I think it could be much better.

Nice and quiet cottage

Our stay was overall really good.We did get a very wet weekend and we didn't know that to go from the kitchen to the rooms/bathroom we had to pass through the open patio, so we'd get wet and the floor got soaked as we came in and out.Other than that we had a lovely stay! The hot tub worked well, we watched DVDs and were able to prepare all our meals.I'd definitely come back.

Xmas vacation

The place and weather was perfect. The house was clean, organized and had plenty of towels. I love the jacuzzi. The neighbors were really nice. I am a computer person and the wifi was off and on but ita ok, its good to have some nature time also.

A quaint property

This cabin is very cute and works for a quiet getaway. There were many things we liked about it. The setup outside was lovely and the hot tub was much appreciated. We did have some challenges with the appliances- they could use an update. We’re not big into streaming so having no television was a bit of a challenge. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay!

This is a very solid property which we enjoyed quite a bit. The view is nice, the space was clean and quiet, and the hot tub worked. The layout was a bit hard to discern until we arrived, the two queen beds are in one structure with the bathroom, it would be close quarters for two adult couples but was great for us as just one couple, would be great for two separate individuals or a couple with kids. A couple reviews mentioned a smell in the living room, there was a bit of a stale odor but it wasn't bad with windows open, which feels good in this region anyways. The hot tub did work but I had to find the manual online to figure out how to get it to standard mode from sleep mode to heat up.

We loved the location as it was close to everywhere we planned on visiting and it was nice to have a location with a hot tub to enjoy. The pillows were amazing! The problem with this location is that it is right across from a vineyard and it was harvest season and we got little to no sleep due to the ongoing activity. Workers were driving up and down the road with tractors and in the vineyard there were harvesters with spotlights so it was very busy. The cabin furniture could use some updating and the kitchen and living room area has a very unpleasant smell.

Absolutely filthy - and unprofessional management

This place was absolutely filthy, dried throw up rolled up into blankets, what looked to be poop smeared on the bathroom door and floor, cigarette smoke filled bedding as well as butts everywhere and that’s just the most note able. Something horrible must have happened at this property. All the reviews before my stay were good. There is a third party company managing the property now and it seems to be some type of scam. It was late when my friend and I arrived so we didn’t see the degree of filth until we woke up the next morning. By that time the window that VRBO will do anything had lapsed. The property manager said they would issue me a refund after I sent pictures but stopped responding to all of my correspondence when I clarified it would be a full refund. They never refunded a cent. I tried to get VRBO to intervene but all they would do is send an email and tell me I have to wait for the property manager to ‘do the right thing’, which they never did.

Great little cottage

Beautiful views, nicely decorated, and all conveniences, except know if you go that you have to go outside to get from the kitchen/living room dining area to the bedrooms and bathroons. Since it was raining the whole time we visited, a little inconvenient. But hot tub was nice, but could not get it hot enough. And could not get the TV to work at all - would not work with the remote provided, even though we were told there was no tv service, only DVD's . Really wanted to watch a DVD one night, but no matter what we tried, no go. Also know, cute woodstove in living room, but no firewood provided. Luckily, we brought our own. Would really like to hear back from a real person to know that might address the problems in case we want to come again.
