Wonderful 3 generation family vacation home! Quiet, private beach, plenty of space and things to do for all. Loved the availability of groceries, restaurants, ice cream places and shopping within a few minutes drive. Then, it’s great to feel at home back at Yellow Bell. This home was more than perfect for our family from the direct access to the beach, plenty of beach fun equipment, to the family centered layout of the house, and even the name Yellow Bell is much like our daughter's middle name, "Belle"...LOL!Jennifer and Justin were so amazing with their communication regarding expediency, thoroughness, and kindness!Truly, the view and location allowed us to see firsthand each morning some of the wonders of God's creation, amen!?We will definitely be back. Very nice home right on the beach. Provided beach chairs and tent and lots of sand toys for our grandsons. We loved the large deck. We had breakfast there every morning. Communication with owners was excellent. Nice home for a family.

Our family of 9 adults spent a week at Yellow Bell and we couldn't have been happier! The bedrooms are separated enough to allow privacy, with a large, open living/eating area that allowed us to be together playing games, eating and watching TV at the same time without feeling like we were on top of each other.Another plus was the convenience of Sassy Bass Market, which was surprisingly well stocked and saved us a a few trips to Gulf Shores.Everything from the kitchen supplies, grill, wagons and beach supplies, outdoor games, parking, layout, ample seating, outdoor shower, not to mention the views and private beach, made this an unforgettable trip!

The place is for sale so don’t expect top condition

Much deferred maintenance, shower in master missing a glass panel. Fixtures are missing pieces and are in need of replacement. Heating and cooling system unbalanced so don’t close bedroom doors. Premises need attention, large sand buildup in shower area impossible to enter house without sandy feet. Several doors had no weather stripping so the wind would breeze through. Overall the place needs quite a bit of attention.Not worth the rate they charge.

7 Days of Pure Relaxation

We loved our stay at Yellow Bell on the Gulf! It was in the perfect spot and only a few feet from the beach, making it super easy to get kids to and from the water. There were plenty of sand toys, chairs, and other beach necessities provided at the house, which was awesome for the kids. The views from the deck were incredible, and the big window doors provided a beautiful from the inside! Jennifer (our host) was amazing and helped with everything! The communication with her was great and easygoing, which made the process so much easier. The only complaint any of us had was the interior doors all being slatted instead of solid. It took away a bit of privacy. It would be fine with immediate family, but with extended family and friends, it created a few awkward feeling moments. Other than the doors, we had a great time, and I would definitely recommend staying at Yellow Bell!

Great time with family at the beach- Would stay again 100%

The host was super helpful and very responsive. I asked if they had a glass 9 x 13 baking dish and they purhcased one and had it wating for us for our stay. We travel with all our family - kids/grandkids, etc and we do all our own cooking becuase going to a restaurant with 8 kids 8 and under and waiting on a table for 15 people does not seem like a lot of fun. The house was a perfect fit for our family. The beach is not croweded and having the house right on the beach was helpful for the littles/adults that need naps during the day. There are lots of items for the beach provided - wagon, sand toys, chairs, ninja shade cover. The kids really enjoyed all the shovels, nets and sand toys. We saw dolphins almost every day and small sharks. On Thursday there was a larger shark cruising the area as well. We caught crabs and had a crab boil as well. It takes about 20-30 minutes to drive to gulf shores but there is a dollar general and a small convenience shop closer to the house. The sleeping arrangements on this home worked out perfectly for our family. Having 4 king beds and then a bunk room was just what we needed. Besides the main fridge there is a smaller camper sized fridge right at the bottom of the stairs by the garage and a small dorm style fridge in the dining area. This was great as we travel with all our own food and had over 8 gallons of milk for the week/We bring our own espresso machine and between milk for the kids and the lattes we go through a lot of milk.

Perfect getaway

Beautiful house, well stocked and steps away from the beach. I loved the bottom breezeway with games for the kids. So many chairs for the beach which was a big plus. The drink fridge was really convenient too. Loved it!!!

Staying at YellowBell was absolutely perfect! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, beds were comfy, the pop a shot in the garage was used quite a bit by the kids. I loved that the sand wagons, nets, beach toys and chairs were there to use. It helps us a ton with saving room in our vehicle. Having our own secluded area on the beach and being just steps away was amazing. We saw lots of dolphins in the mornings while enjoying our coffee during the sunrise!

Excellent family vacation

My wife and I invited our families to stay with us for a week at Yellow Bell, and it didn't disappoint. Everything was clean and as advertised. There was plenty of room for our group of seven adults. We got to see dolphins and stingrays right off the beach in front of the house, as well as at the Fort Morgan pier, just off the road. The surprise hit of the trip was the Pop-a-Shot basketball game in the garage, which the owners had just replaced. We also recommend Jesse's on the Bay, which is an upscale (but not pretentious) restaurant nearby with lovely views, great food, and excellent service.
