It was an overall great neighborhood and place to stay. The spa did not work like it was supposed to and 2 of the rooms were not connected to the house itself as you had to go outside and enter a different code to access them. If you are looking for a quote neighborhood and easy access to the beach I would recommend this house. It was a beautiful location.

Great House, with a few problems

Pros: The house itself is a gem. The room layout worked great for our extended family of 12. The neighborhood is quiet and the private beach access is great. Cons: Pool is smaller than we expected based on listing pictures. Still okay for cooling off, but not much else once you get a few people in it. The golf cart we’d reserved was out of service for repairs. No one’s fault, but as a person with disabilities, I think another cart should have been made available for the same rate rather than just telling us we could rent one locally, which is 4x the price. Since there is no vehicle parking at the beach access, and I can’t walk the distance from the house to the beach, I wasn’t able to visit the beach without asking someone to drop me off. The master bathroom has no window coverings and looks directly onto the neighbor’s patio. I was stepping into the shower when I glanced out and saw the neighbor standing there. :) Our teens reported crumbs and a dried contact lens in their “clean” sheets on our first night; I didn’t see those myself, so take that report with a grain of salt. All TVs are streaming only, no cable, which would’ve been fine. But to add an app to the living room TV, we needed a Roku pin that the owner couldn’t provide. They gave us a few guesses to try, but none worked. Normally not a big deal, I know. But there were major world events happening and with a child in the military we needed to watch some live news and couldn’t. Overall, it was just okay.

Clean house

Overall it was nice. Very clean. Plenty of kitchen utensils and necessities to help with eating in. Only two things I would’ve liked to enjoy better is a pool that wasn’t easily accessible to our toddlers. It has a gate but doesn’t lock and can go around under the steps. Secondly, I was surprised the second room with a bathroom was in an entire separate part of theHouse that you have to walk outside to get to.

Family Vacation

We were looking for a place to visit that was quiet and away from the busier parts of the Gulf. This was perfect. The house was what we needed for our large group and while sitting outdoors on the porch it was so relaxing and peaceful. They are adding a pool so that will be a nice addition. The walk to the beach was not bad and we also rented the golf cart which was helpful. The kids also loved the game room! Thanks for a wonderful stay! Fort Morgan is a beautiful area, we enjoyed the less crowded beaches and the options to set up our chairs and tents near the water.

The house was a dream! we loved everything about it! We got to enjoy our stay so much just by being in the house and walking to the beach. Neighbors were not too friendly the last day we were there but other than that the house and manager connection was delightful! Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and nice! Family vacation

I would definitely stay here again. Kelly, the property manager was wonderful. Was very accommodating. I would go back to this house again and again. A beautiful property. It was almost as if we were in the woods all by ourselves. The house says that it will sleep 19. We had 17 people and it accommodated us all. We were able to take a blow up mattress and one of the couples actually stayed in the game room. It is nice being on the beach but to be honest it was so close to the beach. Three blocks exactly that being said it was absolutely a beautiful place to stay. I loved the porch. It's screened in. The kids were able to go out on the deck and eat their dinner. They loved it and so did the adults. So if you are planning a vacation to Gulf shores fort Morgan, please consider this home and Kelly as your property manager. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing time

Pirate Daze is a comfortable and wonderful place to stay when you want a great beach vacation. The golf cart made it very easy to get to and from the beach. The beds were comfortable, the home was clean, and nicely stocked with beach essentials. We will definitely stay there again! We enjoyed it so much, we are looking for property for our own vacation home!

Great Experience

Everything was great!!! Nice very spacious house and just short walk from the beach or a quick ride in the cart!!! All the family truly enjoyed themselves and looking forward to do it again. Only a small critique I have....the game room....couldn't find the darts😱 and the basketball ball game was brokenđŸ˜«but we very much enjoyed the ping pong table and the kids had a blast playing their video games on the very nice size tv!! So it all worked outđŸ„ł. Would recommend this property to anyone!

Family Vacation for 16

Pirate Daze worked for our family of 16. The place was well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies. I inquired about having a griddle and management had one waiting for us upon arrival. We appreciated it since we used it every day for breakfast. The room with 2 futons has a separate key code and entrance. Two adults unfolded the futons and stayed down there. They were hard to sleep on, but it worked. The other beds were comfortable as were the 2 sleeper sofas. We checked out the game room upon arrival and found the smell overwhelming. There was black mold on the ceiling and wall. We bought some Clorox spray and wiped it up but did not feel comfortable staying down there for a long period of time. The extra fridge down there was definitely nice. Maintenance came upon request and fixed the 2 bikes for us so we could ride them. We were 3 blocks from the beach, which does not sound far, but when you are lugging a tent, chairs, toys, and towels, it would be a hike. Thank goodness for the golf cart. It was so convenient and nice to have. It was one of our favorite features of the beach house. The house was a bit too far away from the action for us. It took approximately 30-40 minutes to get to anything we wanted to do. There was a Dollar General and a nice little bar/restaurant called the Sassy Bass a couple miles away. The beach was nice and not too crowded. Overall, it was a nice place!

Pirate Daze Perfection!

Thank you Pirate Daze for an awesome holiday getaway! The house was well acquainted with so many amenities to make our stay seamless. Contactless check-in and out was easy. It had Roku TVs in every room, including a 70” in the living room that we enjoyed watching the Iron Bowl. The mattresses were just right, it had lightning fast internet upstairs and downstairs and the kitchen was stocked well enough to cook a whole Thanksgiving dinner! From the teens and kids perspective, they loved the game room downstairs and the golf cart. If you’re considering renting the golf cart, get it. The beach is a short walk but it’s much easier to load up the cart and get there in a minute or two. Plus, there’s no parking at the private beach entrance for full size automobiles. As for the private neighborhood, it was lovely and quiet and we felt safe. The neighborhood’s close proximity to Sassy Bass and Dollar General made it even better! This home was perfect for our family and friends that came to visit. We can’t wait to return!
