I was really happy with our stay from May 29- June 2. We had to modify twice, and the host thankfully managed to make the changes.
We were minutes from Sam's and the city center of Gulfport was a quick, easy drive. We went to the waterpark and the toddler and i went to the children's museum. Jones Park and the beach at Jonrs Park was a daily visit. There's an ice cream truck, splash pad, huge pavilions, and the ferry to Ship Island.
The appliances appear to be brand new or at least they are spotless. We had TVs in every room with Roku or Firesticks already available, and the enclosed garage is fully stocked with games. We used the pool table a lot.
The house has very little carpet, so we were able to keep the floors swept. Also, our host had toiletry items stocked in each bathroom. That was a nice bonus. I would recommend buying more paper products if you plan to stay a few days.
The back patio, good sized backyard even for an active dog, and fence kept our toddler and dog safe. There's even a lemon tree out back.
There weren't many house rules and everything was carefully explained in a binder in the living room.
The art and knick knacks were super cute!! There was plenty to appreciate about the decor with the rooms remaining clean, airy, and uncluttered.
We did use the walk-in closet to store items we didn't want the toddler to break.
So happy with my first vacation rental home experience!
