We enjoyed our stay vey much. Very clean and well stocked. Enjoyed the indoor and outdoor accommodations, the seating by the lake was awesome. Host Pam was very easy to communicate with.
We loved the cottage and grounds. It was very peaceful to come back to after the hectic set up for a family wedding. Due to weather, we weren't able to enjoy the outside like we wanted, but we thoroughly enjoyed the coziness of the cottage with the fireplace and the Christmas decorations. It was easy to get in touch with the host when we had questions. We will certainly choose this place again if we come back to the area.
We had the best time and the home was so cute and clean! Definitely will want to stay again if we are in the area. Pam was very responsive and keep us informed about checking in! Perfect stay wished we would have had more time to visit that area we were in town for baseball!
We had a great time during our trip. Excellent location and lots of space for family to visit. Quiet area and easy access to the water for kayaking and fishing.
We met our son and his family at this cottage for a small reunion. The cottage was clean throughout, with cheerful decorations for Fall. The beds were comfortable. The backyard was a big hit with all of us, but our granddaughter loved the fort the most. She also found the toys in the bedroom which kept her busy playing for a while. We loved the view, and the host was easy to communicate with. We were not familiar with the area at all, but the house number on the mailbox helped significantly when we arrived in the dark hour. My husband is 6 ft 6 inches, so he did have to duck when he walked through the kitchen doorway, but it became a topic of humor for all of us. We really enjoyed our stay and felt like family there.
Great family time vacation, great place to relax and fish. We love it here the grandbabies love the swing and the neighbors dog browny. We all had such a great time. I really recommend staying here. The Host Pam is amazing. We will definitely be back next year.
The house was clean, great access to the water, comfy beds and plenty to do! Well located to Guntersville, and a quiet boat launch five minutes down the road. Cell service and wifi is good just in case you need to stay connected, kitchen and grill totally capable of any cooking you want to do or drive ten minutes to City Harbor and eat there! Very comfortably kept 6 adults and 1 child. Would happily go again!
Had a nice time good place for a family went with a friend but already thinking of going back with kids. Host was great with communicating and the place was beautiful inside and out.
It was tasteful decorated for Christmas. Fully equipped with everything we needed including paper products. Lots of little extras you donât normal get. Communication with Pam and husband was quick and efficient. We would stay here again.
The property is perfect for a serene quick getaway. Itâs close enough to town and stores to get groceries but far enough to hear nature and see the stars! Wonderful for all of those in our family - age 13-76!
Our family has been to several places and have yet to experience a "homey" experience as we did at Peacefully in the Pines. The amenities were beyond expectations; we didn't have to leave to keep the kiddos entertained and engaged with activities. They had so much to do from the swings, paddle boat, kayaking, canoeing, and the swing on the back porch was well used! The entrainment didn't stop there; well into the evening, there were the lightning bugs the kiddos collected and set free, and then after dinner and bathing, they settled into the entrainment from the many televisions offered. No argument about who was watching what! Most of all, these are memories that will last them a lifetime! Thank you for giving us your little Peacefully in the Pines.
ALSO
The kitchen had the needed accessories for cooking and there are grocery stores not too far away for shopping or restaurants if you don't feel like cooking. The two bathrooms were stocked with fresh towels. The bedrooms were all nicely sized and all had fresh linens. We spent the majority of our time outdoors, by the dock fishing ( bring your own fishing gear out of state licenses will run you $ 34 a person for 5 daysđ) Have fun!
The Brewer's and Kings'
The area was very quiet and relaxing. The property was well maintained and the beds are so comfortable! The fishing off the pier was great for some catch and release. My favorite spot was the swing on the back porch overlooking the lake. Would definitely recommend!!
Check in was simple. The whole family loved the setting, the cottage, the back porch, sleeping quarters. This Host has all you need. There are random dogs that approach and run through the yard which scared my family a bit because we didn't know if they were friendly or not. So, be prepared for that if you are scared of dogs. The ones that we saw were friendly. Plenty of chipmunks and squirrels to watch. We did not use any of the water toys. We just had a little birthday party. Definitely peaceful. Worth the stay.
Although you do have to remove bedding and put used linens on floor of beds you used. Wasn't fond of that since there is a cleaning fee and another fee on top of the regular rate. That should be covered, but ive never stayed at a Vrbo property before and not sure if that is normal. Anyway, its older and quaint and worth the stay. Thank you Pam for getting the coffee maker to us so quickly since the other one wasnt working.
Peaceful in the pines is exactly what it was and what we needed. Enjoyed our stay very much. Our grandkids loved the swing. We will most definitely be back.
