This hotel is not as pictured and needs serious room updates to be a 3 star. The water pressure is non existent, the surfaces were sticky and there were items in the drawers from previous guests. The water pictures are quite far away and across a highway like road. It is also a very sketchy area.

Good enough, needs a little attention

Facility is a little outdated. Drop ceiling panels all over need attention. Great to have laundry facility in basement, but it truly smells like a basement. Parking a little iffy, had to park at grocery store a couple streets over a couple nights. Not enough spaces for all customers. Breakfast was very good & a good value. Water pressure in our room was weak but we got by.

Hotel full of character staff very helpful especially the young Ukrainian receptionist. Found the Atlantic Superstore so convenient just a walk away spent 2 weeks in hotel as visiting family. Lake minutes away and bus stop to go to Alderney Landing and Ferry to Halifax.

This is a great hotel which is in the midst of a full renovation (no construction). The Bannock Lake is across the road, and it is beautiful with great cafes and food trucks. Superstore is also across the street. Would return.

This hotel is about as nice as a motel. You wouldn't want to stay more than a night, it's a place to sleep, and that's about it. Shower didn't drain, place is tired looking, and a bit grubby.

Parking could be challenging at times as some spots were very narrow. QR code didn’t link to information about a restaurant on site but I think there was one? Couldn’t find it. The address is on Prince Albert Dr., but the Inn is actually on a side street so we had trouble finding it, initially.

The mattress was separated 3/4 of the way down the middle. Needed to be replaced. Had to request another room. Towels were not bath size, the size would only wrap around a child, there was no plug where the coffee maker was and there were no plugs around the side table to plug in cell phone.

The property was great for the price. It was cheap, so if you temper expectations based on price it was probably a decent value. Everything worked, the area was sketchy and the staff were all very nice and helpful. No problems at check in and no problems with the room. It was a bed, washroom and mini fridge. All of which were dated, but worked well enough.
