We loved our stay at this gorgeous boutique hotel. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. We especially enjoyed the social hour in the library. The location made it easy to leave our vehicle and walk around. The room was clean, spacious, and relaxing. We appreciated all the amenities the hotel had to offer. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

The hotel was exactly what we were looking for as it is a beautiful old building and not your typical hotel. The only downside is that there are no black out shades so it is very bright in the morning. Beds are comfortable and everything is clean. Location is perfect to walk down to the waterfront and tons of great restaurants near by.

We liked the easy, free parking at the back of the property. The hotel was also easy to find. Our room was very quiet as it was at the back of the property. It was unfortunate the on-site restaurant was closed.

I had a lovely stay at The Halliburton in Halifax. While I didn’t dine in the restaurant or try the breakfast, I can’t speak to that experience, but everything else was wonderful. My room was clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. There were a few stairs to manage with luggage, which made things slightly tricky, but it was entirely doable, and the staff kindly offered assistance. The buildings themselves are in remarkable condition considering their age, and I really appreciated the charm and character that comes through in the overall feel of the place. The parking lot is small but easy to access, and the location is excellent, just a short walk to the Halifax waterfront and many local attractions. I would happily stay here again.

This hotel was well maintained, staff very accommodating. The only thing you need to be aware of is being historical buildings, there is no elevator so be prepared to climb the stairs which are fairly narrow and steep. The staff are more than willing to assist with luggage. The happy hour is a nice touch. Location is great. Near to the wharf and many dining options nearby.

A historic property, well kept and decorated, but with quirks. Very narrow hallways and lots of stairs, with very limited on site parking. Lots of restaurants and shops close by if the hills aren’t a problem for you. Library area is nice for use as a sitting area. Was fine for a night but we probably wouldn’t stay there again simply because it didn’t suit us.
