Come enjoy cozy, modern, & contemporary vibes with this home away from home in our sweet Downtown Hammond, America! This two bedroom, one bath spot is located two walkable blocks from the main downtown area full of wonderful restaurants, boutique shops, bars, salons, coffee shops, & much, much more. Interior space is composed of a spacious living room & kitchen as well as two bedrooms, one full bathroom & laundry area.

The living room features a 60-inch 4K flatscreen that is Roku-ready for all your favorite streaming apps powered by newly available fiberoptic internet service/WiFi.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all modern appliances so you are ready no matter if you are dining in or eating out at over 20 restaurants nearby. Also included: Coffee station with complimentary coffee, few breakfast bars for on the go, a couple bourbons at the bar, as well as a few beers from our local brewery- Gnarly Barely!

Both bedrooms feature a comfy sealy mattresses (1 King & 1 Queen) as well as Roku-ready flatscreens .

The full bathroom features a funky bohemian style with a tub/shower combo as well as a hairdryer and some minor toiletries available that you may have forgotten. Laundry room provides free use of washer/dryer with detergent and fabric sheets provided. Iron/Ironing board also available.

You will have the entire unit to yourself as well as private fenced in yard area on the exterior. This 80+ year old structure has recently been renovated completely from head to toe with updated amenities throughout the entire space!

Hammond is the perfect combination of small town with the conveniences of a larger city! This location is 9 blocks from SELU campus. Enjoy college sporting events, walking paths, numerous festivals and events throughout the year as well as a farmer's market on Saturday. Street and parking lots are free and public (first come/first serve). Loading and unloading for our space can be done at the front door right in our driveway with ease.

This location is fairly quiet however our downtown has several events throughout the year that bring live music and dancing in the streets! Feel free to ask for information on upcoming events that may be happening at the time of your stay!

The Farmer's market is every Saturday morning next to the post office until noon!

Other Details to note:

1: Train tracks run through the entire downtown area so you will definitely hear the train several times during the day and night. Its not very loud but we figured we should mention it. Ear plugs are available in the night stands for light sleepers.

2: FEE SCHEDULE

We want you to have a great stay but you remain responsible for any damage or excessive cleaning caused during your stay by anyone who enters the property.

Please understand this fee schedule exists only to deter bad guests who plan on causing chaos and damage to our property. We have no intention of excessively or randomly charging fees to five star guests.
