Some rooms may have been upgraded, but staying in room #2 made me wonder why the universe was punishing me. It was a sold out weekend where town was busy for a show. The full size bed was squeaky and uncomfortable, the toilet is 10 feet from the bed with a door that does not shut and no hooks for towels. The curtains donât close as the rod is missing a piece, and there were no hangers in the closet to do the hanger trick. A blind cut out for a AC is missing slats and the room is so bright from lights outside all night. Paper thin walls let us listen to the neighbors loud music until 3:30 am when I knocked on the door (no manager at night), and there might have been dancing Clydesdales staying above us. There are some oversized holes in walls for cords and such that are creepy and filled with TP. I just wanted like 6 hours of sleep and a shower, but it was impossible and I canât remember when Iâve had such a bad hotel experience.
On the plus side it was clean and the guy who checked us in was pleasant. I strongly suggest the owner/manager spend a busy weekend night in room #2.
This hotel is basic but clean. Room had everything we needed (except a hair dryer). Comfy bed. Quiet location at the very beginning of the beach strip but very walkable. Would stay again
We enjoyed our stay for the Seafood Festival.
We stay here once a year and it's always a great stay. Clean comfortable, friendly staff and close walk to the strip!
