The staff is absolutely wonderful. Each one is kinder than the next. The thing to remember about this property is it is down in alley so itâs difficult to find unless you know where youâre going. The rooms are comfortable. We had to move rooms because across the street. They were doing construction from 12 AM to 4 AM. The staff was very accommodating moved us without question and they were just so kind. Breakfast is easy you can order off a menu with lots of different variety.
This hotel was in a small alley just off one of the main roads in Hanoi, so it was easy to walk to most parts of the city. Hanoi is a large city so we expected a smaller room but were pleasantly surprised with the size of our rooms. There are numerous street vendors in the alley making the walk to/from the hotel an interesting olfactory experience.
Donât listen to the travel weanies who didnât like the location. The alley is clean, well lit and full of little vendors and street food. Itâs utterly typical of old town Hanoi.
The hotel was completely adequate for our needs. Very well located for exploring the area and surrounded for a zillion eateries. The lake is a 5 minute walk.
Our room was spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast is just okay. They need to be more attentive to making sure the little food buffet is hot and the coffee jugs full and hot.
If you want to arrange tours - just negotiate. We got our Halong bay luxury tour for $65 after the starting price of $99. When we checked prices with tour agencies on the street $65 was standard.
Staying in the old quarter is an adventure. Embrace it. The La Beaute Boutique is just fine.
Good followup with the property from My Lee after booking on Expedia to promote the hotel day tour offerings to the followup after the tour. Can come across a little pushy but acceptable. Hotel is not on the main road with no car access if you have Big Luggages will need to drag them through a narrow alley and a short walk to the hotel entrance. Surrounded by buildings so not much of a view despite booking a room with window. Thin walls so getting a good rest was difficult due to the noise of returning/departing guests. Otherwise overall a comfortable stay
Itâs a cute little hotel down an alley way 2 minute walk off the Main Street where all the restaurants and cafes are. At night time it is quiet and away from the noise. A car cannot get to the entrance so you will have to carry your luggage through a dirty uneven pathed road but itâs very short. Rooms were clean, bathroom could have used a deep clean. Breakfast was decent and had a different options.
central position, my family can go around old quater very conviniently. The price acceptable, fully breakfast, clean. Friendly staff. Everything very good.
Amazing stay. Room is spacious enough and comfortable. Location is a plus. Right where Old Quarters is.
Have marked this hotel. Will definitely stay here again when back in Hanoi
All good. Quite basic but it has everything that you want from a hotel room. Clean, fresh and a/c....a little noisy.
The only issue was turning on the shower??? I had to call reception....dooh. The shower was very good on the end.
We really enjoyed our stay at the small hotel. It is conveniently located in very busy and very touristy Old Town. But for our 4 nights it was perfect and a good base for many walking tours. The hotel staff is very helpful. Breakfast is simple but ok.
