Ă seulement 1 minutes en voiture de Parc historique national Harpers Ferry National Historical Park et Ă 10 minutes de Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races
The Carriage House was clean and comfortable. It was also very conveniently located. We really liked that we could walk to pretty much everywhere including the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and the Appalachian trail. Harpers Ferry was a great place to hang out for a couple of days.
This quaint property is walking distance to the historical area of Harper's Ferry, but it would be a tough hike back up the hill after your sightseeing. However, there is a parking area at the National Park area with a bus that brings you to the Lower Town. Also, there is some parking at the train station.Owner is very responsive! Not sure how the place can sleep 5, unless you count children. And it lists a pool, but that is not accurate. It is great that the owner provides a made-to-order breakfast!! But don't plan to cook many other meals, as the kitchen is supplied with minimum pots, pans, baking dishes. Probably needs new wallpaper and carpeting, too.
Cozy getaway walking distance to Harper's Ferry sites and restaurants
Rustic and peaceful right in the heart of Harper's Ferry. Very cute pond and yard. Easy to find the place and then park for my stay. Nancy was easy to contact and helpful. Can easily go downhill to the sites or wander around town to playgrounds or cafes or restaurants.
Everything about our stay was terrific. The suite was just as pictured, very comfortable and private, lovely decor and cleanliness, and the breakfast foods were very complete and plentiful! Shawn and Nancy were great with communications and made everything very easy and welcoming. A all the way, we greatly look forward to returning here soon, thank you!
Enjoyed a relaxing three week stay with my Dog in a cozy carriage gouse nesled in beautiful historic Harpers Ferry. Owner provided breakfeast and check in weekly to ensure for a comfortable stay. Recommend this location and will stay again if in the area.
We enjoyed the quiet location, yet it was close enough to the lower town to walk to everything we wanted to see.
The suite was well-furnished and comfortable.
The breakfast items were provided in very generous amounts.
All the directions and information provided were easy to follow and use.
We enjoyed our time at Lily Pond The first evening the fish crows gave a us quite an impressive chorus! The distance into town was easily walkable and the return trip was even doable after hiking up to Maryland Heights. Everything we needed was available except dishwasher detergent and dish towels. The neighbors and town folks were very friendly. We would definitely rebook this sweet spot again.
Nice little spot that's great for me and the kids to have some awesome Harper's Ferry adventures. Pond with lilies is nice and parking is sufficient for the place.
Very cozy for a family of 4. The pond was very cute and the breakfast made for easy mornings. Not sure why it says there is a pool, because there isnât one.
Enjoyed our stay at Harperâs Ferry. Host was very gracious and easy to work with. Cute space, loved the breakfast selection! So nice to walk around and see the area. Nice area to bike and do some kayaking. We had an amazing trip!! Even had a puzzle we put together! Great fun many memories!! Thank you!
I had a marvelous time,Nancy, the property manager was great. This place is super close to Harpers Ferry federal Park, and Harper ferry brewing Company
Always a fantastic stay at Lily Garden. The proprietors are so accommodating. They communicate ahead of time to make our stay great. The Carriage Suite was ver comfortable and breakfast options were just what we needed. The location cannot be beat. Very walkable to lower town. We look forward to staying again.
Hated to leave; can't wait to go back! Carriage House was immaculate, comfortable, and lily pond outside front door was a relaxing and beautiful site. The delivered and sitting in the fridge breakfast was great! Had plenty for breakfasts (3 days) and then some. Plenty to do in Harpers Ferry and nearby Shepherdstown. Will definitely be back when we can!
The kid loved the independence of sleeping in the loft. I liked the short distance to town -- walkable if desired, quick ride if not. Coffee selection (Kurigs) were more than suitable for this heavy coffee drinker. Parking worked just fine for a long truck with bikes, there's bike storage available if desired.
Charming unit located on pleasant, relaxing property
We spent 3 nights in Harpers Ferry in the upstairs unit of this converted carriage house. It was packed with interesting tchotchkes, had a nice TV, and contained a well-supplied kitchen with breakfast groceries provided from a list sent by the owner-- not to mention a quiche, which we ended up eating for dinner. I loved waking up to sit on the back-porch glider-bench, watching the many back-yard birds. And we both loved the interesting historical town of Harpers Ferry, along with the hikes along the river and in the National Historical area. We highly recommend this place.
