Spacious.

The room was very spacious and clean. The king-sized bed was extremely comfortable. The only problem was that the shade on the window was so sheer it let in the street lights from the parking lot. We had to hang a blanket over the window to block the light!

Very pleased with my stay we booked the night before for an overnight for a soccer tournament prices were $200 and up a night everywhere when I came across this place I thought too good to be true. I was pleasantly surprised room was clean pool was open and my kids enjoyed that! Breakfast was good no complaints! This stay was better than some of the other hotels we've used during travel soccer!! Will be back

We needed to check in late so we tried to call several times no one answered the phone. When we got there the smell was of mildew. When we checked into our room there were several red spots on the floor by the closet nook and around the bed. There was a glob of I believe lotion on the wall. The towels were dirty and the soap was not locked so anyone could have put anything in there. This was not a great stay.

The hotel is in a good location, but that’s where the good ends. The lobby smelled weird, as did the 2nd floor hallway. The room only had a translucent sun shade instead of actual curtains or blinds. The large chair had multiple stains, and the tub drain was either dirty or very rusty. Being greeted with a $50 deposit demand even though we prepaid was also off-putting. Lastly, there’s a sign posted during breakfast stating that guests couldn’t take any back to their room. Talk about making me feel unwelcome!

Don't stay!

The condition of the hotel was terrible. There were no towels in the room, there were stains on the carpet and stains on the sheets. The service also was not good.

Room smelt musky when we first walked in. The sink needs to be re-caulked and the faucet in the sink needs work as very little water comes out. Room 219. There was no ice bucket and only one ice machine in the whole building is working. Evening shift checkin was extremely nice but was lacking the supplies at the front desk. Check out lady was rude.

Safety is top priority

Our overall stay was good. The lobby area wasn’t clean from where something had been spilled for a while and not mopped. When you enter a place, the cleanliness says a lot. Lastly, the door to the back entrance wasn’t secure. Anyone could walk up and just pull it open. You didn’t have to use the room key. This made me feel very unsafe.

Staff nice, hotel dreadful, shoulda used a tent

Staff was beyond nice BUT we will never come back. I have plenty of pictures but I can’t describe the smell that was in our room. It was some sort of chemical smell coming from the A/C. I complained on Friday night but the manager was out and hotel was full. Staff did their best to accommodate. Saturday morning told the manager. Told her I wasn’t interested in monetary return if we could find another room or fix the A/C, it’d be fine. No rooms available. When we go back in the afternoon the door was cracked. A/C still not fixed. No telling how long door wasn’t closed. We went without A/C for the entire weekend. It was absolutely miserable. The chemical smell was burning mine and my son’s eyes and noses. We have been coughing all Sunday. Face to face staff and manager were nice. Hotel was packed so they couldn’t move us. No indication they attempted to fix the A/C. Horrible smell. Had to buy a box fan to vent the room. Stains and broken things everywhere. Side note: this was the fourth floor. Isn’t it against code to have it open this much? Door jam busted Soap dispensers appeared to be broken or tampered with Sink blasted water out like a loose fire hose

Check in was terrible. Wingate was overall unclean. There was one towel in the bathroom and the tub was nasty, so no showers for us. The room was poorly lit with only two small lamps that actually worked. The window blind was not functional. Our family was on the 3rd floor, and the elevator was filthy. Outside trash cans were overflowing, yesterday and still this morning. We will never stay at another Windham.

For this being a Wyndham property, I was very disappointed. Room is nice and clean. But, no cups or glasses, no coffee pot, no coffee or condiments for coffee, no ice bucket, no curtain other than a shade on window, and the shower head had nothing to hold it. Will not stay here again.
