We were attending a family party 10 minutes away from the hotel. The Hotel was eady to gind, and in a lovely location near a Marina. The Reception staff were friendly. Quick check in ( and out.) Comfortable room in a quiet location. TV. Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate available in our room.We enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The swimming pool looked amazing. Aĺl the facilities were very nice. We would definitely stay there again.

Booked in and given access key to room that was alreay occupied (room 153 ). Never happened to me before and feel sorry for the gentleman whose room we entered. Good job we are honest as his phone was there on charge and all his possessions too. A formal apology would have been nice.

Pleasant stay

It was an overall pleasant stay. Rooms were comfortable. Pool in the spa was a great temperature, although a little dated. One small sauna and steam room which were good. Showers in the changing room could do with an update. Breakfast was a little hit and miss. Excellent variety but taste of some of the items were bland. Overall you could navigate through to a decent selection. Location was good for exploring Portsmouth and surrounding areas. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great staff

Location of hotel is lovely. Great for exploring Hayling Island and nearby area. Condition of the hotel is a little tired but we understand that an updating programme is in progress. Rooms were a good size and well equipped. Bathrooms could do with updating. Staff were fantastic - could not do enough to help.

Langstone Hotel

Light Outside door was broken and not working and because there was no natural light it was relatively dark in that area. Light in bathroom was flickering the whole time until it gave up altogether. They had a Dyson fan for the heating system which kicked in and out and was LOUD so every time it kicked back in it woke you up. The shower soap dispenser was knackered so you had to remove the soap from the dispenser unit to be able to use the plunger to pump the soap out.
