Loved this inn. The hospitality was wonderful. Liz was the chef on December 26 and everything was superb. She made a persimmon bread that was so moist and tasty. She also made me an omelet made from cheese, bacon and apple. It was fabulous. A very quaint inn that made us feel at home. Looking for a place in Healdsburg? Give this place a try. Extremely enjoyable.
Here's a refined version of your hotel review:
During our weekend stay, there was no hot water, and at times, no water in our room at all due to a pipe breaking on Friday night. The owner did not communicate when the issue would be resolved, and our group was not offered any compensation for the inconvenience. On a positive note, the facility was nice, and the homemade breakfast was delicious.
I booked a one-night stay at the Grape Leaf Inn and wish I had gotten more time there! The staff were delightful - especially Ave - and the accommodations were lovely. I had a first-floor room and it had super tall ceilings, a huge walk-in shower (presumably ADA-friendly) and the furnishings were a mix of antique and newer. Breakfast on the patio was delightful and they were able to accommodate my food preference very easily. All in all, a wonderful stay and Iâd love to come back.
Itâs a relaxing place, great for exploring Healdsburg on foot or bike and a convenient drive to multiple wineries. Breakfast is well presented, afternoon wine and freshly baked cookies were appreciated. The heated pool (really a large spa pool) was nice. The massage therapist was excellent. And make sure to ask about how to get to the former speakeasy in the basement.
We've been wanting to stay here forever and finally got the chance. Highly recommend. The Zinfandel room was wonderful, spacious, quiet, and loved the hot tub. The breakfast was splendid and we are so happy we did the massage, one of the best we've had. I can't wait to stay again
Very friendly staff, great location, great food.
Unfortunately, we were in a first-floor room with *extremely* active upstairs neighbors. Between their heavy footfalls and athletic sex, there were hours at a time when we couldn't enjoy our room (or sleep) in peace. Sometimes, it literally seemed like the room shook.
It's a shame, because we really did like the place and the people who worked hard to make us feel at home.
The Inn is an old victorian house with beautiful stained glass windows and other charming features. The rooms are quiet, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The inkeeper Ve is the hostess with the mostest! She contacted me in advance to verify our arrival time, met us when we arrived and showed us around, offering us a glass of really good wine and a snack! The full hot breakfast was wonderful. We took a walk around the lovely neighborhood and it is a short walk into the village where there are many ships and restaurants. We were in town for a wedding but we will be back to explore the wineries.
Beginning with a quiet afternoon nap on a comfy mattress the space invited relaxation and calm. We walked to town (about 7 minutes) for dinner and a show. The breakfast was 5 star including homemade granola! As a tea lover, I have to point out loose leaf tea and actual pots to brew it in! We will definitely return and hope to take advantage of the spa and pool next time.
Excellent location, only a couple blocks to the plaza. Vintage B&B with nice amenities - wonderful cook to order full breakfast, cookies & wine happy hour, with wrap around porch seating, large reception area, and a speakeasy in the basement! Our room was large with a separate seating/tv area, king bed, double sinks & jacuzzi tub/shower. Quiet and very convenient.
