The customer service was great, the property was very clean & quiet and the parking was good.
As for safety, that was sketchy. If I could share photos I would. There were extension cords plugged into extension cords and all were wrapped in electrical tape.
The only thing on tv were movies, but the tv is at the head of the bed.
This is a very affordable place to stay not far from Denali National Park (only a 15 minute drive away). The building is older and definitely shows some wear and tear, but it was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was a bit small for two beds, the wifi didn't work and the walls are paper thin, but we still had a nice stay here! It has a very retro feel, the staff are super friendly, and the entrance to the park is just a few minutes drive down the road, so it was perfect for us.
The motel and KOA campground was a short distance to the entrance of the park.
There was also a new hiking trail "Antler Ridge Trail" next to the campground. It is worth taking this trail up.
Bare room with double bed. No TV and Internet is worthless. I had to shut my laptop and phone off because of buffereing every 10-15 seconds. Very overpriced but not sure if anything is reasonable within the area..
I cannot rave about this location enough! I was hesitant with some of the other reviews but decided to give it a chance seeing that there was new management and it did not disappoint. It is located only 14 minutes from the Denali park and is quite and not too crowded. We stayed in the family cabin and my girls didn't want to leave. It had a separate bedroom for the parents and a TV for the kids. We used every inch of the room and it did not feel overly crowded. I will absolutely be coming back and using this location again.
I stayed here with my wife and two kids. It was very nice, quiet and safe location. The rooms were spacious and with all the amenities. I will definitely like to come again some day here. Thumbs up for maintaining such a good facility.
We needed somewhere to stay for one night while traveling through the heart of Alaska. We stayed in one of the small units and it was perfect for our family. Clean and well stocked with warm bedding and supplies. The unit is old but comfortable. Check in and check out was quick and simple. Just what we needed.
There was a fire in Denali Park and the park was closed. Tried to cancel and was told was told that we would be charged anyway. They also proceeded to tell us that they would not make any money and if they refunded money due to the cancellations. We will never book with them again and will tell all our family in Alaska to make sure they do not recommend to anyone and all our friends
Their info on the website is wrong. It said last check in is at 10 p.m, when the office closes. I tried calling 3-4 times before closing time and nobody answered. Because my flight was late and I'd arrive after 10, I relied on the info on the website and had to get a room elsewhere for the night. I told them the situation and asked for a refund or credit for the night and they refused. They should get their act together. And the rooms are like single wide mobile home shanties.
This little hotel and RV park is really rather cool. There are 2 buildings with with about 12-16 rooms. We were in the one with an interior area and door. The room was small and cozy. A double bed and twin. The bathroom was in great shape. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. This is not a "5 star resort", it is quite, comfortable, great price and location. We were in room 12.
