We booked through VRBO but were contacted by vacasa during the stay. Not sure why though, perhaps vacasa was "owner" of booking itself.
We had no problem with the location of the unit as it was located within walking distance for our family and quiet. Our main concern/issue was the cleanliness or lack thereof when we arrived. The unit had peanuts (skin, shells, etc..) located throughout the house as well as dirt in every room. The bed sheets were dirty and wrinkled under the top cover which leads us to believe they were not washed. Trash was still located on the night stands from previous tenants. Contacting vacasa about it AFTER my wife and I cleaned the unit ourselves (we arrived late around 9pm so we cleaned the unit and washed sheets BEFORE we could sleep) and we were given $50 credit and nothing else because we didn't allow the cleaning crew to come in and clean...AFTER WE CLEANED IT THE NIGHT BEFORE SO WE COULD SLEEP! Only issue was cleanliness of unit but that could have been due to the previous tenant checking out on the 24th of December (based on signing of guest book), and us arriving on the 26th. Perhaps cleaning crew didn't want to interrupt their holiday??
