Contemporary rooms and hotel. Friendly staff. Lovely Sauna but one was closed one day (meaning less availability) Would be nice to have cafe on the Sunday. Close to lots of sights and a lovely walk there from the train station (approx 20 mins).

I never leave reviews but this was worth it. One of the most beautiful and serene hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The mass timber and Wood construction really brings the hotel to life. It is calm and serene and beautiful, and the rooms were quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was also amazing.

We couldn't travel on the dates we had booked for, had to move the reservation to two nights later in the same week. GUESS WHAT? NO REFUND OR TRANSFER OF THE RESERVATION. WE LOST A LOT OF MONEY. Pleaded with the hotel and hotels.com that they were special circumstances but they just kept passing the buck between them, blaming each other for being unable to issue a refund. I am dismayed and fed up with the whole experience, especially the buck passing. I will try to never stay in a Sokos hotel again.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and still had that new smell, which was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and the hotel was in a very convenient location. Breakfast was extremely good.
