Wonderful home! Great location to walk to downtown, microbrewery and new walking/biking trail. Kitchen was fabulous and had everything we needed. Beds, furniture and outdoor areas very comfortable.
Loved this place. Had everything we needed â well equipped and decorated. Enjoyed sitting on the comfortable outdoor patio furniture. Very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Quick walk to downtown and the Elks Lodge.
Stunning home and landscaping immediately noted on arrival. Outdoor seating area was great (maybe invest in better cushions on the furniture) and fire pit kept us cozy. It was our favorite place to be all weekend. The bedrooms were large and roomy. Both bathrooms were on the smaller side though and there seems to be plenty of space upstairs that another bathroom would make a longer stay with 6 adults more appealing. If couples need to get ready together itâs tight to move around each other and thereâs no countertop space on the sinks. I was pleased that everything was very very clean. Living room area is ok. The LR Furniture is low and not really enough seating for 6. But with the outdoor seating and the things to do downtown who needs comfortable living room furniture right? We definitely plan to stay again and discussed spending more time hanging out in the backyard under the covered pergola playing cards. Thank you for a great (too short) getaway. It is a lovely home!
We enjoyed our stay here so much! The Historic Blythe Cottage is wonderful in every way- I felt it was like staying at a 5 star hotel. The place was so clean and welcoming, it had every amenity you could ask for and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Most of all I appreciated the warm and personal communication from the host Julie. Will definitely stay here again.
Always a pleasure. This was our third stay here,. Lovely home, perfect neighborhood, location. We love Hendersonvilleâs small-town feel, restaurants, and variety of shopping.
I was traveling alone with my daughter, so I was seeking a place that felt safe and secure. My first step inside this house, I knew this was exactly the right place. It is beautiful and spotless! The beds were amazingly comfortable and I literally felt at home while I waited to help my daughter through a difficult time. It was so much better than a hotel. I also have to say that the property manager was incredible, very communicative and supportive - especially considering that I was in the house as hurricane Helene hit. I was scheduled to leave that day but the storm made it too dangerous. The manager and the house truly made a difference during what was already a difficult week. I'm so happy I chose this place to stay!
We ended up not getting to head to Hendersonville because of Hurricane Helene. The house survived but the town was devastated. Julie was dealing with so much but worked hard to ensure us, even though our reservation was non-refundable, and we didnât buy insurance that we would receive a full refund with the exception of the credit card fee. While they were dealing with the worst disaster in their history they took care of us!! We were issued a refund and look forward to the day when we the area is ready formour visit. We know who we will be booking our stay with!!
We had a wonderful time in Hendersonville. There is so much to do! The house is superb with many great amenities and supplied with everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to the downtown. The host was easily accessible and very pleasant. We can't wait to return. This home is outstanding!
Blythe Cottage was perfect for a weeklong stay in Hendersonville. Great neighborhood, perfect for walking and close to town. The cottage was very clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen appliances new. The outside seating area is nice and somewhat protected from rain. My only knock might be that living room furniture wasnât very comfortable.
