Beautiful hotel on beach front

Pros: Modern, spacious and clean at perfect location.
Cons: Wifi
Location: Fraser Island is amazing,
Huge lovely apartment with everything you need. Only negative was poor wifi!

Huge suite with amazing views for reasonable price

Pros: Clean, great rooms, great views from most rooms, good facilities
Cons: took a while to get through to room service to order food.
Location: we did the whalesong whale watching tour, and the 2-day fraser explorer tour which were both amazing, and both picked us up from the hotel.
We only stayed at Oceans resort for 1 night but had an incredible room with a huge balcony by the beach. The rooms were excellently presented and clean. The resort location is good and the room service was ok. Staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Tracey who checked us in. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Leider waren wir enttäuscht. Wir waren über den Australia Day für 2 Übernachtungen dort. Die Lage ist wirklich schön, direkt am Meer. Ich habe über ebookers gebucht und wir haben ein Appartement mit einem King-Size Bett gebucht. Angefragt hatte ich, ob 2 Single Betten möglich wären. Als Antwort vom Hotel bekam ich eine freundliche Mail, dass man mir entweder 2 King-Betten ODER 1 King-Bett und 2 Single-Betten anbietet. Super, dachte ich... Wir checkten ein und hatten ein Appartement mit 2 Schlafzimmern, ein Zimmer mit King-Size Bett und ein Zimmer mit 2 Single-Betten, die mit einem (1) Bettlaken gedeckt waren. Dort lag ein Zettel auf dem der Hinweis stand, dass wenn wir dieses Zimmer mitbenutzen möchten, wir dafür extra zahlen müssten! ??? Nach Rückfrage an der Rezeption und langem hin- und her, sagte mir die Dame, dass wir 1 Bett davon nutzen dürften, aber das 2. Bad nicht. Wir haben es nicht genutzt ( nur das King-Size Bett), am nächsten Morgen nochmal nachgefragt und eine andere Rezeptionistin sagte nun, dass die Mail ein Missverständnis sei. Wir können den 2. Raum nur mit extra Zahlung nutzen! Das Appartement hat seine besten Zeiten lange hinter sich. Die Einrichtung ist alt, ungepflegt und abgewohnt. Das Bad war staubig, schmuddelig und die Tür der Duschkabine schimmelig und schmutzig. Auch alte Zimmer können sauber UND gepflegt sein, wenn man es möchte.

Hübsches Appartement mit Strandblick

Grundsätzlich ist das Ocean Resort eine schöne Appartementanlage mit SIcht auf den Strand und 2 Pools (geheizt/ungeheizt). Im Appartement fanden wir das meiste vor, was man braucht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Abzug gab es, weil die Reception mehr als eine halbe Stunde brauchte, um uns einzuchecken, weil trotz mehrmaligem Nachfragen leider kein WiFi zur Verfügung stand, und weil die Polstermöbel und Vorhänge schmuddelig/fleckig waren.

Sehr schöne Hotelanlage mit grossen Appartements

Pros: gute Lage, Ocean-View. sehr grosse Appartements
Cons: nein
Wir waren zwei Nächte im Hotel als wir nach Fraser Island gegangen sind. Ist sehr empfehlswert.
