The cabin is exactly what we hoped for - spacious and secluded. The place is clean and has every amenity you could require. Kathleen was very responsive to make sure we checked in ok. Our dogs loved roaming the property.
The property is very remote. It is nine miles down a dirt road. If you want to hike or go into Durango, itâs an hour each way. The leather furniture was ripped and badly patched and in terrible shape. The water is from a well and has so much iron in it that I couldnât shower. Our trip was cut short because sirens were going off and a helicopter carrying water flew over the cabin. There were forest fires in the area. As we drove out we saw the smoke. I would give this property a 3 on a 10 scale. VRBO had the property rated 10/10 but it is far from a 10/10.
It was a great little cabin! The bed was super comfy! I love watching the horses in the pasture down below. While drinking my morning coffee. The kitchen had everything I needed, plus there was a grill just out the door! We have stayed at a lot of different places and this host the best by far with communication! I would recommend property to anyone wanting to get away to peace and quiet!
