Haliburton Family Cottage and Bunkie - Right on the Water!

Come stay at our family cottage on Stormy Lake! This three bedroom cottage plus additional bunkie with loft is the perfect family get away.

This cottage boasts three bedrooms inside, two with queen beds and 1 with two twin beds. Also there is a bunkie with a loft, just outside of the main building with a double and two twin beds- either for extra space or just for teenage separation.


The kitchen is equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. As well a water cooler to ensure you are always properly hydrated. There is a propane bbq and both indoor and outdoor dining areas.

The bathroom is a bathtub shower combo, and there is also an apartment sized washer and dryer on site.

There are two separate living areas, one upstairs with the bedrooms and one downstairs just off the kitchen. The upper deck overlooks the lake through the trees providing the perfect combination of lake views and privacy.


The best part of this cottage is the outdoors. There is a very gradual sandy entry to the water and a small beach perfect for young children. The dock is large, with spacious seating and lounging for 6. No one will be tripping over each other. From the dock you can fish or watch the loons, or just relax as the sun goes down.

The boathouse is outfitted with a variety of water toys for children, as well as fishing rods. Also included in the rental are 2 youth kayaks, 1 adult sit in kayak, 1 adult blow up kayak, 1 paddleboard, and a pedal boat.


There is a volleyball/badminton court set up on the upper lawn for dry sports and the boathouse is equipped with a variety of outdoor games to keep you entertained.

The lake is the home of a variety of wildlife- fish, turtles, beavers and loons are seen daily. There are hiking and ATV trails to explore and cliff jumping for the more adventurous vacationers.

Our cottage continues to be used by our family and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
