This three bedroom two bath cabin is in a great Cul de Sac location. It is located in Shelby Place Subdivision, about one mile to the Main Street where numerous restaurants and stores are located. If you enjoy walking, it takes only 10 min from our subdivision (and 20 min from our house) to get to Bryson's Plaza. This fully equipped house sleeps six people, and it can be perfect getaway for a family or several friends. The vaulted ceiling living room area is spacious and has large wood burning fireplace. The living room equipped with flat screen TV, DVD player, and stereo system.
Kitchen is equipped with new stainless still appliances and has everything you might need for gourmet or simple cooking. The dining room is suitable for six people with two additional bar seats.
Master bedroom has King bed, private bathroom and walk-in closet. The second bedroom has luxurious Queen size bed and sleeps two people. The third bedroom has two single beds and also suitable for two people.
During your stay at this holiday home, you're just a quick walk from Nantahala National Forest. You'll find features such as laundry facilities. Enjoy your stay with amenities like free WiFi and a kitchen in the holiday home.

We enjoyed a week with family at this lovely home located minutes from the quaint town of Highlands. While it was close to everything it felt private and secluded. We prepared several meals in the fully equipped kitchen and thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace. I would highly recommend this property for families or couples longing to spend time in the mountains.
Our dog, Abby, loved it too.

This house is fully equipped with everything a family might need for a vacation stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything a baker and/or cook might need to prepare meals and treats. Beds are comfortable, and the family spaces are warm and engaging. There is even a pair of pickleball courts within this development, and we enjoyed introducing our adult children to the sport. Our grandson loved the open spaces, and we took several long walks through lovely neighborhoods.

The house is located in a small, safe private community at the edge of town. It is a short drive to a grocery store and the downtown area. I had brought a lot of kitchen supplies, but did not need to use most of them, as the kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked. The bedrooms were also roomy with plenty of dresser and closet space. The Washer and Dryer were also a bonus.It was easy to communicate with Anna. We had trouble figuring out the TV, but the property manager came over that afternoon to walk us through it. We were there to enjoy the changing leaves and did a number of hikes in the area. Restaurants tended to get packed, so recommend making reservations where you can during high seasons. We had a nice lunch at Wild Thyme. Great pizza at Four65 Woodfire Bistro (no reservations taken here). And across the street, a fine-dining Italian Ristorante Paoletti (definitely need reservations).

Excellent Home in Highlands

Clean, spacious, quiet, 5 minute drive to grocery and town center. Well equipped kitchen and 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Master has king bed. Good Wi-Fi but had to enable Wi-Fi calling in order to make and receive phone calls with Verizon. Nice enclosed deck at rear of home for outdoor grilling. Good places to take walks right from front door and staying within Shelby Community.

This property was extremely clean and well equipped. The beds were sooo comfortable! Very well located close to groceries and downtown attractions. Good home base to explore hikes and waterfalls. Great communication prior to and after the stay.

Home away from home

Great House, Great Location - close to town. House is located on a cull-d-sac, which provides great privacy. All in all, we love this house - this is our third year of staying here. For what it is worth, depending on who reads this - we left two pillows and an a charging chord (at least it's worth a shot).
