Room was very clean and comfortable! We liked the availability of parking and snacks/water. The part we most enjoyed was breakfast in the morning. We got to eat a phenomenal meal with an ocean view each morning! Would definitely recommend staying here!

There were so many good things about this place.Our hosts were very nice couple, we got freshly made breakfast every morning on time in their beautiful dining room right next to the ocean!What a luxury! The location is hard to beat, walkable distance to Hilo downtown. I love the Poke Market, delicious poke bowl!The bed was extremely comfortable, we had great sleep. Thank you so much, we had a blast!

Such a nice and cozy spot in a beautiful area of Hilo. So close to the main part of town but the property feels like you’re in your own jungle oasis right next to the ocean. The staff was always available and very accommodating to us and our toddler. We would love to come back to Hilo and specifically stay here again.

A gem on Hilo Bay

We were looking for a place to stay for one night in the Hilo area, when I came across Hilo Bay Oceanfront B&B. We chose a room that was truly oceanfront, with panoramic views of Hilo Bay and amazing ocean breezes. The service was great, and there were lots of extras available at all times, like snacks, coffee & tea, and bottled water. The made-to-order breakfast at 6:30 am was icing on the cake. We will definitely return!

We chose an ocean front room. It’s large, with a cozy dark wood vibe, and has a perfect reading nook in earshot of the surf. Parking is a good size and the host offers nice details like water and other beverages.

This is really a nice place to stay. The view outside the room is amazing! There’s no doubt that I would like to stay here again. Very nice and friendly host. Awesome experience to live here, it is like live in home, and the room is well-decorated and clean. The host is so nice and if you need a ride to the airport, you can schedule with them. Also, they will prepared you breakfast between 6am to 9am.

Lovely restored home. Very nice owner and sweet (I believe Japanese) lady prepared and cooked our breakfast. Lots of snacks and refreshments. We were allowed to use an area in the fridge. No amenities in room but, everything we would want or need was just outside our door. Would love to stay again!
