Cette maison de deux chambres d'une salle de bain est situé dans un quartier cool, sûr et tout à fait dans le district de Hilo. La propriété est située au centre des principaux sites d'attraction. Il est 30 miles au parc national de Hawaii Volcano et à Mauna Kea Centre d'observation, 2. 5 miles à l'Université d'Hawaii, 1 mile de Imaloa Centre, 5 miles à Hilo centre-ville et à Rainbow Falls, et à quelques minutes de toutes les principales chutes d'eau et Plages Parc. Il est également à peine à 3 km de l'entrée de Saddle Road et facile à trouver. My two daughters and I spent six nights at this property. We have two issues with it. First, the bathroom sink has been completely clogged, it took a couple of hours to drain fully. Upon draining, the sink would be completely disgusting. I told about this to the property owner on the first morning. She shrugged and said she’d ask someone to take a look “at some point.” Nobody did. Also, for the life of me I couldn’t make the bathroom faucet to produce any hot water. So shaving was out of question.Second, the designated parking for this unit is in a very narrow alley next to the house. It appears that other units are being rented out by the owner, so a number of cars is parked in front of the house. As a result, on a couple of occasions I was unable to make a U turn on the property and had to get onto the street driving backwards. And the street could be pretty busy in the morning, so I felt very uncomfortable about this.Otherwise, a nice unit. But I wouldn’t rent it again.

You won’t get the resort experience here. What you will get is a clean, well- supplied cottage in a nice neighborhood with a friendly and helpful owner all at a bargain price. Also, if you like tropical vegetation, it is like living in a jungle. This was our second stay here, and we would stay again.

Diana is a wonderful host! We had everything we needed at the property. It is clean and well maintained with beautiful landscaping and convenient parking. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and proximity to family living in the area. The national park is about an hour away. Downtown Hilo, with many shops and restaurants is about a 10 minute drive. We explored several trails and beaches within a half hour drive from our location. We would enjoy staying here again!

Very clean, kitchen was adequately equipped, host/manager easy to contact, beds were very comfortable, nice big bathroom with great shower. Beautiful plants and trees on the property. Towels were provided for beach use. Cooled off nicely in the evenings. One ceiling fan in living area didn't work but we were given a tower fan to use. Quiet complex/area. You could see the ocean but was very far off. I loved hearing the frogs at night. I would stay again if I went back to the big Island.

Lovely cottage and wonderful host!

My family loved our stay in the Ohana Cottage. The house is clean and the beds are really comfortable. Diana is incredibly kind and very responsive. My mom has mobility issues and Diana went out of her way to make sure she had easy access to the house. I highly recommend the Ohana Cottage! Thanks, Diana!

This is a really cute 2 bedroom, 1 bath Ohana unit. Full kitchen and refrigerator made it convenient to have breakfast before heading out for the day. Diana was amazing and we Will definitely be booking this again when we travel back to Hilo. Mahalo much for the hospitality.

Great location | Amazing Host

This property was perfect for our stay in Hilo. I love the local neighborhood and the cottage was exactly as pictures and well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable and we felt like we were at home. Diana is the most amazing host - excellent communication, extremely accommodating and generously shared the fruits of the property with us. When I'm back in Hilo, this will be my first choice of places to stay.

Lovely self-contained 2 bedroom annex. Had all the necessities. We arrived late at night, so it took a little bit of time to find the actual room (as it's not the main building), but once in, all was fine. Thank you Diana for a lovely stay.

Property is well supplied. Has a great kitchen with everything you need. Many spices and condiments are on site. A gecko will visit so don’t leave your food on the counter but he is very friendly and might let you catch him. Highly recommend the property very affordable for what you get and the host is amazing.

Perfect get away!

Diana was an amazing host! We enjoyed our stay very much and can't recommend it enough. The fresh fruit and avocados were an unexpected perk that we greatly appreciated. The place is just as described - the beds are incredibly comfortable. Absolutely no complaints. Diana also told us about some events that were happening around town that were a lot of fun. If we have the opportunity to return to the Big Island, we'll be hoping to stay here again.
