We booked over a year in advance and had to change our dates around twice. Host2Coast was amazing and super easy to work with. Unit was nice, we had a few maintenance issues but again the property managers were very responsive. Not the best furniture for toddlers (glass table tops) but we managed. Washer and dryer worked great. Mattresses were on the softer side but supportive. Loved having the extra beach towels. Can’t beat the location and ambience.

Steps from the Beach

We had a wonderful vaca…My dad and I recently stayed at this condo on Hilton Head Island. The location is truly ideal—just a short walk to the beach and close to everything you might need. The unit was clean, and the linens were soft and comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay overall.That said, a few considerations are worth noting for future guests. The condo is located on an upper level with quite a few stairs to climb, so it may not be the best fit for anyone with knee or hip concerns, or for older guests who may have difficulty navigating steps.While the space was well-kept, the second bedroom had notably low water pressure. Additionally, the Master bath, and 2nd bedroom bath lacked a functioning tub faucet—water only came through the showerhead. This could pose a challenge for families with young children who may need to fill the tub for a bath.In summary, the location is a standout and the condo offers a clean and comfortable stay. Just keep in mind the accessibility and plumbing quirks when booking, depending on your needs.We thank the owners for their hospitality..(this is Dad speaking). Loved the hospitality and property, my knees are shot I just can’t do the stairs as I used to.

Memorial Day Week

The property is just like it looks in the pictures, which is not always the case. I appreciate that the children's bedroom is essentially its own wing, giving separation from the living room and parents' bedroom we adults can still hang out without disturbing the kids. The Beach really is only a 3 or 4 minute walk, and we loved that the Dune's Beach House was right there for quick bites and drinks.

Great location!

My husband and I come to HH for beach walking, bike riding, golfing and playing pickle ball. This is the best location to do it all without having to drive and find parking. You also have easy access to the Dune House (our favorite) for lunch, dinner and cocktails and the General Store for a quick breakfast. The condo is updated especially compared to other places we stayed. There are stairs as it was the top floor but this was not an issue for us. We sat on the back deck in the morning for coffee and enjoyed the outdoors. We would stay again!

Sparkling clean

We vacation on HHI each year, always Palmetto Dunes. This property was sparkling clean!! Sadly, however, we felt at the Moorings we would not be up so boxed in. It’s always pleasant to enjoy a coffee or beverage on the porch and see something other than the back, sides, basically nothing but other condos. 71 Moorings does not offer any kind of picturesque beauty or tranquility. Lastly, the key code lock gave us nothing but trouble on our stay. We've waited as much as 30 minutes, waiting for it to work. I cannot tell you how disappointing that was for us. We have three key codes on our doors at home and never have this type of issue. I did text the agent, however, no response and that was a few days ago.

Lovely condo!

Great condo! Great location! Close to beach, restaurants, shopping. Lots of recreational activities to enjoy. We did struggle a little with check in. Had a bit of a challenge finding real estate office to obtain parking pass. Once we arrived at condo the code we were given did not work. Took multiple phone calls to get through to someone to correct situation. Calls kept going to VM & VM box was full. We had a bit of a panic until we were able to get through. After that everything was awesome. Pictures online truly reflect condo appearance. We would be happy to return.

We love The Moorings -- units are very well designed, with a great living area, open kitchen, two balconies, a room for our teenage daughter that feels almost like her separate unit. And we especially like the direct access to the beach. In the unit everything was perfect, and exactly as shown in the pictures.

Great location, easy beach access

Property was great for the family. We could walk to the beach in under 5 minutes and even better with the dunes house right there. General store was also a short walk for coffee, breakfast and anything else that we needed. The property had everything you’d need between bedrooms, kitchen and living area. The washer and dryer were convenient but could use an upgrade, the dryer took quite a while to actually fully dry the clothes. But overall we would absolutely stay there again, we even extended the trip by an additional day which was a very simple process with the property management team.
