My family and I so love Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort. The lay out is very family friendly. This unit is in close proximity to the pool, beach access, and restaurants on the property. Love the unit is secluded from a lot of traffic, and a view of the quiet marsh.
The condo was fine. I would not stay in the summertime. No ceiling fans. Some other small issues, just not my favorite at Hilton Head Beach and Tennis.
Everything was as described in pictures. It has been updated. Plenty of towels for everyone. Husband's and I may stay again ,but nect tume by ourselves.
I took my grandchildren on vacation. It was their first time to see the ocean. We loved it. Secured so I didnât have to worry. Great place for us to hang out together and still have great day trips to different areas. We loved our vacation
This is the ultimate worst place we have ever stayed. Communication was horrible. We were suppose to get our check in information which we never got. Took us 2 hours to get checked in because she never gave us any info whatsoever. Then she NEVER EVER ANSWERS the phone. You text her and wait until she gets back with you. For 5 days , 6 people was allowed 12 towels, 4 wash cloths and 2 hand towels. 2 kitchen towels and NOTHING to wash dishes with or clean the table off . And o was told and I got âWE ARE NOT A MOTEL , wash your towels if you need moreâ. We try to vacation every year, our first year for Hilton Head , and we always stay in a resort, but NEVER EVER HAVE WE EVER HAD TO WASH TOWELS . She did not tell us we had to pay $25.00 for an extra car . And it cost us $3.00 to get a card to use the laundry , $3.00 to wash and $3.00 to dry . The pull out bed had iron bars in your back , mattress was horrible. We ended up using extra blankets under the mattress. The bunk beds had 2â piece of foam on wood for a mattress. The full size bed mattress was very thin and very lumpy. The Ocean view â that was advertised was a picture hanging on the wall. ( false advertisingâ
Not so good. Never received any information from VBRO. Went to check in and was told someone was to send me a pin code. I received nothing but a conformation number. Called the number on the reservation and spoke with a gentleman and he said he would try to get ahold of the host. Finally after several attempts we had a code. We drove 6 hours and were exhausted and got to the room and smelt like mold. Not a good start. The host finally sent a email with the information and a different code. I have stayed at this resort plenty of times and never had such a bad experience. No communication. The smell of mold, no sheets on the pull out couch. Not to mention the cushions had stains on them. The bunk bed mattress was like jello. Kids refused to sleep on them. TV stopped working on the last night. Needs updating and good clean. Blankets were old and wooly. The shower was working but not at the right temps. Hot and cold needed to be adjusted otherwise you would burn. Not a happy person.
We had a great time but I do feel like the pictures didnât really show how small the unit really is. The bunk beds are not even twin size beds. They were 1/2 the size. There were no dressers or anywhere for us to put our luggage except one small closet. It says the unit sleeps 6 people but it would be better for a family of 4 with very small children to fit in the bunks. My 18 year old and 13 year old daughters slept in the bunks and barely fit. That to sayâŠEverything was very clean and I love the location. We still had a good timeâŠeven though we were on top of each other.
