The view from the porch was great but there were other things about the condo that we had a problem with. The main thing problem was the edge of the rug on the porch was curled up and so my 3 yo tripped on it and fell forward, hitting his chin on a chair leg which resulted in a large gash that caused us to go to urgent care. The other problem was with a couple of the dining area chairs that were pretty unstable because some of the legs were loose and could've easily broken underneath enough weight.

PERFECT place for small kiddos! Waves were small and the location has everything you need. With the beach and an indoor and outdoor pool you can not go wrong! We will definitely be returning to this location.

A lovely place to stay

Wasn’t a fan of the beach area because the water recedes so bad during low tide but the room was so comfy, the beds were incredible and the room was clean.

We really enjoyed the quiet and peaceful location. The beach was steps away and not crowded. Great for beach walks and exploring. The view of the beach/ocean was lovely from our balcony.

Great Spot for beach stay

We had several families, each staying in their own units at the Spa for a family reunion. The proximity to the quiet Fish Haul beach on Port Royal Sound. The only downside to the location and our unit was that when the weather is bad there isn't a great gathering spot for a big group. Our unit's porch was not screened or enclosed, so it was unavailable to us when the weather turned cold and rainy.

Love that is a Feral cat sanctuary. Not so much the shark reserve nearby. Land to beach was very marshy. And difficult to walk across or around it. It was a lovely place, relatively quiet outside of pool times.

Convenient and cozy

Very clean and stocked with everything you need! Check in was a breeze. We stay at the spa frequently - this part of the island is a hidden gem and such a great place for families with small children. The natural beach is great for animal lovers - a bald eagle had a meal 10 ft from my beach chair!!! Great rental. We would absolutely rent this unit again in the future!

Perfect Hilton Head Getaway

My family rented this condo in May of 2020 when we were desperate to get out of the house. We have thought about it so much since then, and were so excited to return. I worried we had built it up too much, but it was just as amazing as we remembered. Perfect location, cozy and comfortable, and great beach access. We will hopefully be back!

Very nice beach retreat

We enjoyed the ocean views from the balcony! The amenities were great for our family, and we loved staying on the sound and experiencing all the wildlife! We would stay here again! The condo was well furnished and we were very comfortable! The only negative is we were in the third floor and we didn’t have beach towels and had to go buy some, but stores are very close! The negatives weren’t a problem and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Lots to do on the island!

Fabulous views

We were blessed with awesome weather so spent most of the week outside. The complex is incredibly quiet and peaceful - that may be different once the kids are out of school. We overlooked the pool and had a fabulous view of the ocean/sound.The condo was as described and did not have a want or need for anything. The highlight of the week was finding a loggerhead turtles nest during my morning walk. I saw more wildlife and seabirds including a bald eagle in the past week than I have in the last year. Looking forward to returning in the fall.

Serene Oasis

The Spa at Port Royal and the Port Royal Sound are lovely. The area is very quiet and serene. We had a wonderful experience at Kate's Seaside Retreat. The condo was clean and nicely decorated, very charming and comfortable. The outdoor patio with an ocean view was fantastic. I am already envisioning our next visit!

The property itself can use some improvement. It is not up to the standard I expected on Hilton Head

The exterior of the property...i.e. the ground needs a lot of updating. Outside of the fact that we had a beautiful, ocean view from the patio, I would have been terribly disappointed and asked for another unit. We ended up having to clean the place ourselves when we arrived because it was not properly cleaned. The bathrooms were horrible! We had go out to purchase new shower curtains and liners because they were just filthy..( We took pictures) The baseboards had dust all around them and there were bugs behind the sofa and the table that sat against the wall in the living room! The owner should pay us for cleaning or at least refund half our money because we certainly left the place better than we found it. The patio windows were filthy and filled with dead bugs. The bedspreads were also dirty....We had to wash them as we used them to spread over the sofa and chairs...(Thank goodness we brought our own , along with our own sheets, pillows and pillow cases) The bed in the front bedroom needs a new mattress....The entire villa just needs a complete overhaul. I was really disappointed. As I stated, the view of the ocean was breathtaking. As for as the property itself, I needs some work. I felt like when I walked outside of the unit, I was walking outside in the projects! ( I am a social worker)....All those stray cats roaming around on the property is disgusting! I would not recommended this property to friends, nor will I ever stay there again.

Wonderful View

This villa was just as it was pictured. Very tastefully furnished. You could see the beach right from the balcony. It also had a great view if the beautiful grounds. It was only a three minute walk from the beach and the pool was directly outside. Overall this was a wonderful experience and vacation.

Beautiful inlet

Our stay was beautiful and peaceful. The condo was great however there was a drawback and that was there is no elevator to the third floor. This is very difficult for those with disabilities. Also, the bugs, mosquitoes are no joke! I assume it’s because of the marshes around the beach areas. Other than that everything was perfect!
