Perfect location

This condo was even better than advertised. The property is clean and quiet and about as close as you can get to the beach. The unit is very comfortable and modern. Excellent vacation rental for our family of 5!

Great location but not sure we would stay in this condo again

We arrived early so we went to pick up our parking passes. The instructions stated that they would be in the box if we arrived after hours. We were not after hours so I went in the office and was informed not nicely that they were in the outside box. So don’t bother going in the office to get your parking slip. The location is wonderful. Right on the beach. Lovely boardwalk and fabulous pool area. Beds a VERY hard. Which I happen to like but my husband and our friends did not. They complained about the beds all weekend. So keep that in mind. The unit was clean but there is some mold in the bathrooms. They really need to address that. The master tub was extremely slippery when we first got there. Must have been residue from a cleaner. Once we rinsed it off (I few minutes) it was much better. All in all we had a great weekend

The perfect vacation spot

We had a wonderful time at this property. The space is exactly as shown. The communication was prompt and helpful. The location is indeed walking distance to multiple places for food and groceries. The vakay credit for bikes and beach chair rental was great! The beach and heated pool a minute from the door was perfect! It was very clean, and kitchen was well appointed. The only things we found ourselves looking for were minor. A throw blanket for the couch, a broom for some sand control. We were a little overpowered by the cleaning fumes but cleared after opening the sliding doors. But, can't really complain about it being too clean :) in all, a quick favorite for us and we can't wait to get back. Thanks for sharing this great space!

Mold in a few vents & shower

The location is ideal, close distance to a lot of things to do! there were just a few things within the property that affected some of the guests. There was mold spores on the vents in the master bedroom. Maintenance came and cleaned the vent cover itself, but couldn’t do anything about the mold within the actual vent (would need an HVAC person). We also made maintenance aware of the water damage & mold in the second bathroom above the shower head. It wasn’t unbearable as we stayed only for a long weekend, but one of the guests on this trip does have a mold allergy so they were affected on their vacation. We left for the beach shortly after maintenance left but when we returned, our door was wide open? we were certain that we shut the door until it clicked. and there is material at the bottom of the door that makes it impossible to swing open with the wind, it needs to be pushed open by someone. this left us feeling uneasy/unsafe afterwards as we are a group of all women.

Location, Location, Location!

We absolutely loved our stay! While this was our first trip to HHI, we quickly learned that this is the best location on the island with so much being just a short walk or bike ride away. The pool area and beach access was perfect! Really appreciated the Beach Gear rental credit which allowed us to all get bikes for our stay which is an absolute must! Would come back and stay in a heartbeat!

Excellent Location

The location of the property is tough to beat! So close to shops, parks, dining, and of course the beach! Overall, the property is ok - about what you would expect from the listing, which was very accurate. A few things make it a 4 star instead of a 5: only 1 extra blanket to be found within the property, no bedding for the pull-out bed in the living room, and the walls of the property are very thin, so you can hear other commotion easily (wasn't a big deal if you bring a noise maker). Also, some of the furniture could afford to be updated, as it seemed quite worn. Great features included a closet full of beach toys, boogie boards, and beach chairs! Also, the heated pull and large hot tub were a huge plus and make this property worth a visit, along with 8 towels for shower use. Overall it was pleasant, but a few minor updates are needed to make it a 5 Star.

Definitely needs to be cleaned better and the towels need to be cleaned better or changed . Balcony and furniture needs cleaned and balcony furniture was rusted which also is staining the balcony

Heart of Hilton Head

Location, Location, Location! Place was great. If you are a frequent VRBO person this is a good spot. Beware though - noisy. You can hear everything - neighbors next door, toilets flushing from neighbors. Every sound possible - you hear in this unit. Other than that - would rent again. Just need a sleep tranquilizer because of the noises but that's what red wine is for!

Nice updated property

We ended up with this property after our rental company switched us out of two others. The property is great w a slight view. All amenities as described. The only issue was the terrible amount of construction and jackhammers all day every day. Not the owners fault.
