Never again - big disappointment

We stayed only one night of 2. We did not sleep and that includes the family dog. She whined all night. Whenever the guests upstairs walked across the floor they sounded like they had clogs on hardwood floors. Whenever a guest upstairs or around us, had a shower of flushed, it was like it was in our room. We will not stay there again!

I have never made a negative review like this before.You get what you pay for. $66 plus tax. Location was handy. Price was cheap. I booked a pet friendly room. However, it was surprised when I was charged extra for my dog. The fact that you have to pay a fee should be upfront and visible in the booking area. Instead of hidden in the bottom details/small print. My room had a deadbolt and a slide chain lock. The chain lock had been installed backwards, so the chain was too short to slide into the slot. When I remarked upon this, the young woman at the front desk said well, just use the other door lock (deadbolt) instead. As a single female, her response was quite glib/uncaring/unhelpful. Room was dirty. Loads and loads and loads of hairs on both sides of one pillow, and underneath the covers. There’s no way this bedding was changed. Front desk changed my room without any issue thankfully. The towels are extremely thin and small. They’re so small. They would not wrap around my body. I am not a large person. I would not stay here again. I’m not a picky person. But as a single female traveller, I did not like this place.

Stunning view of the mountains, staff were great when we had an issue with our room and moved us without fuss. Didn’t like the fact we reported there was no battery in the smoke detector which we brought to staff attention but never fixed and also the room was cold as they turned the building heat down. Also being only 5ft2, the bed was hard to climb into as it was so high. Could use a hand rail to get into the shower.

The guests before me got sick in the jetted tub and I guess I was expected to clean it. Made a complaint and nothing was done. i stay at Coast in Hinton now. Much nicer at Coast.

I stay in Hinton quite often when I'm snowboarding in Jasper because the rates are much more affordable. This place is so much cleaner and nicer than Hinton lodge. I'll definitely be choosing Coast again for next time.
