The hotel was modern and bright. The room was very spacious and design was well thought out - there was plenty of storage areas and hooks for towels, coats, etc. The sink in the washroom though was unusually high, so might be something to consider if you have young kids. We really enjoyed our short stay here and loved the location. So many dining/ shopping options nearby. Hotel breakfast does need improvement but nice to have available when you’re in a pinch in the morning.

Check in staff were great. Disappointed to learn that the pool and hot tub were closed for renovations. This should have been advertised. We looked to book a facility with a hot tub available. No compensation was offered. Bed was comfy, room was large and had lots of amenities.

Soundproofing was inadequate, you could hear guests in upstairs rooms just walking on the floors. Breakfast was in an Indian restaurant next door, which had an overhanging smell from the cuisine the night before. Hotel charges $25 CAD per night for use of a crib for baby, whereas all other hotels we have stayed at in Canada do not charge for a crib.

The staff was friendly, I was driving back to northern Alberta from Vancouver and was caught in accident so my arrival time was past the listed check in time, the front desk was accommodating when I called and upon arrival, he knew who I was which made it more personal.

The property is newly renovated and the beds were very comfortable. The only negative thing I could say was that they should let the guests know before hand that the pool is still under renovation and not after making the reservation. My kids were really disappointed that they could not swim
