It was my first time staying at The Tasmanian Inn. I loved my room (Room 2). It was right next door to the bathroom/toilets. The room was very clean & the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly & helpful.

The interior of the bedroom and hallway was fascinating!! and bathroom and bedroom was very clean. But because located in the intersection, it was a little bit noisy at night, but still we still can sleep tight tho!👍✨

Todd was very helpful and great to deal with. The room was beautiful. I had a few meals at the bar and they were delicious. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Was a great stay. Highly recommend

Good hotel, excellent pub!

It is a good hotel and a excellent pub! Great location just a few minutes walking to the Salamanca Market, for example. The room is quite small and has no table or chair, just a bed, bedsides, a heater, and a TV. It's a well-kept and renovated room. This room has a door to the patio and the patio is used by pub patrons too, so it's best to keep it closed with a curtain if you want privacy. Bathrooms are shared. The only drawback we encountered was that the shower water would heat up and then suddenly turn cold, a situation that happened every day. The breakfast included in the price is good but very simple; there's only sliced bread and cereal for eat, and coffee, juice, tea and milk for drink, and you can serve yourself as much as you want. (also there butter, honey, Vegemite, jelly and chocolate powder) The pub is very good! Great beers and a menu with amazing and juicy food. I highly recommend dining there.

If you want a sleek modern hotel, this is NOT the place for you. (Not all the rooms have en suite bathrooms, for instance.) It is like an old fashioned neighbor hood tavern: rooms are charming and furnished with vintage pieces and colors. Restaurant is good, and clearly popular with the neighbor hood. Staff is charming, helpful, and friendly. HIghly recommended.

Large room with ensuite in an old hotel with lots of character; clean and cared-for. Check-in etc all very easy. Excellent cafés and restaurants nearby, and the hotel's own food looked good too. A good alternative to typical modern hotels.
