Nice Room in a cottage building in a rural area just outside of town. Room was nice and there is a shared kitchen if you choose. Super friendly host lives in house on grounds.

Very close to Hofn where we had dinner and filled up on gas after a long day of adventure. The views from our room were very beautiful - opened the door for a minute and a ton of little bugs came in the room. Would definitely stay here again though despite a few bug bites.

Great place near Hofn!

We loved that there was a full kitchen so we were able to cook pasta for dinner; it saved quite a bit of money instead of eating in restaurants. The whole place was impeccable!

Nice, big room with lots of place to hang coats, place luggage, plug your chargers. Has a shared kitchen, when we were there we were the only ones. The GPS brought us to the right place, but there were no signs. You are asked to leave your shows at the entryway.

Bad value for money

This place was by far the worst value for money of our Ring Road trip. The room was incredibly simple and the shared bathroom and kitchen are right outside the bedroom doors that we could hear everything of the other group staying in the same location if they were in the common space. Everything was clean and it's pleasant enough, but you could get much better for what this place cost us.

very poor price/quality ratio

I can't understand the hype about this place in the other reviews. The house is nice but the bedroom is shabby and without any comforts (no ensuite sink, main light not working). I think it is extremely overpriced even by Icelandic standards: €160 for a run-down double room with shared bathroom is a rip-off.
